hey krillelille, can you send me all specs of all parts you used to build the htpc. got to hold my budget for this thing and i want to have the same specs with yours... thnx
Grymt! =) Men hur kopplar man in LED-skärmen på chassit? vet du vad det är för sladdar och hur man kopplar in dem? Bara nyfiken eftersom jag beställde mitt chassi igår.
I use shuttle with no fans. using a MV2-VM HDMI. Its a great Motherboard with HDMI support no need for a graphics card ( i did needed to download the latest ATI drivers and manually set it up to get the best performance). I use LinuxMCE very easy to use and setup.
the problems I have is the TV card HVR-4000 theres no support or very little.
1080p doesn't play all that well build-in GPU isn't enough
Well the advice i could give is to see over the air flow in the htpc. Use a CPU with a low energy consumption, reduces heat. Also try to get a fanless and small gfx since heat is your worst enemy in a htpc case. I would reccomend the HD series from ATI since they have no fan so lower energy consumption and dont get that heated. Use only rounded ide cables and try to bundle the cables as much as you can to increase air flow. what i could think of as most essential :)
Very nice vid. I've wanted for years to build myself an entertainment. I've just been uploading my downloaded movies from my PC to my MP4 player and playing it on my TV. Is your HTPC wirelessly connected to you network, or wired???
well not that hard, the hard part was to figure out wich power connector was suposed to be plugged in. After that, just install the drivers and you are ready to go. the only real "hint" is that the power needed for the LCD front is a really small 3pin connector next to the PSU
It's a remix of the Orbital track "Halcyon" released around 1992 which features a sample that is also used on "It's a fine day" by Opus 3. The Original Orbital version is Ten Gazzilion times better than the one on this video. You never know if you send me an email I might let you have both of them!
can some one pleeeeeeeeese help me. can i plug a ps3 in a HP w2207h 22 inch using a HDMI-DVI cable or do a need HDfury. it has a DVI input and obviosly my PS3 has a HDMI input. you guys look like you no what your talking about.

However, may I recommend that to save money you buy an nVidia graphics card, an HVR-1600 and go with Ubuntu + MythTV instead of Windows MCE.
