@zenotaddei It might no be compiled and/or packaged with the Synfig version you downloaded. I cannot help you with that. You can, however, render your movies using one of the other render libraries, and convert it afterward. You should look on the Synfig website for more information about that.
sry i got all the selected petals at 2:02 but i couldnt figure out how to select all vertices and tangents to downsize all the petals at once. what did you click?
@stickman2400 Have you tried another extension (i.e., file format), such as .mpg, or target (i.e., driver)? Have you already posted to the Synfig forum?
@jerrytrozt Did you set the output format to a single file format, such as AVI or MPG, like I do around 8:30 in the video? It sounds like you use the default PNG single-frame-per-file output format.
Thanks for the tutorial! I noticed that in the render settings I have less options. For instance I don't have libav or mng. Are these optional plugins?
@Jeorney : Yes, unfortunately not all output plugins are available on all platforms. Also some are simply not compiled in by default because they are also not maintained or unstable. I liked the libav plugin so I compiled it myself.
Thank you, very helpful.

Thanks for this. Even though it's for an older version, the principles/ideas are the same and helped me with getting over a block in learning Synfig.
