Gateway DX4710-UB801A Refurbished Desktop

I got this Gateway PC model in 2008. Its already three years old. Does this mean that my PC is obsolete?

@essentialeugene I don't think so! I also have had my DX since 2008. I updated it to Windows 7, 8 GB Ram, 750W PSU, and ATI Radeon HD 5770 Graphics card. It runs fabulous with these upgrades, but I am actually going tomorrow to see what I can do about upgrading to a SSD,CPU, and graphics card. Just give it a makeover, I am too in love with this system to buy a new computer!!!

I have my TV tuner in one of the USB ports to the front. My TV tuner is external. They don't always have to be in the back or on your CPU.

I bought a Civil War game and I couldn't play it because my graphics card couldn't handle it. I had to pay extra for a video card and power supply.

What was he saying about label flash vs. lightscribe? Both of 'em require special discs to burn the images on...both of them can burn on any regular disc too in my experience.

i like how gateway makes there towers just plain and simple not flashy with lights and stuff because why would you spend the extra money for that, your not gonna stare it at all day, you could use the money that you used to buy the flashy stuff with to upgrade the system instead.
