Russell is the greatest player in the history of Survivor. Made it to the finals twice and lost to undeserving players who rode coattails to the end. And his 3rd time got voted out because own tribe threw a challenge because they were so afraid of him.

what i don't get is this: what if Tyson was one of the 3 "scheduled" to vote parvati already? it was only a 50% chance that he'd been told to vote for russel, and hence would be able to flip his vote
@randomperson10082 if i remember i think coach or someone blurted out to him who was voting for who, then russell decided that tyson was probably the easiest who was to vote for him to fool, he knew tyson was unlikely to tell anyone else about this sudden change of plan because he'd still want him to give up immunity and if coach or rob blurted this out then russell might suddenly do something else which means their ideas might still backfire especially if one of the six suddenly turned on them.
Russell and Parvati need one another at this point. If they can't protect one another, tribes will throw challenges just to get them out first. I think they should do Amazing Race.

Rob was in a Tribe that was so obsessed with him from the beginning that they never even thought of getting rid of him, they wanted him to go to the final. I admit maybe my claim of the show being manifactured is a little far-fetched. But due to the fact that Jeff always has a man crush on Mariano anyway it wouldn´t really be that surprising. But the fact stays that his tribe was like a bunch of robotic drones that did everything that he said. And after 10 years, four tries and such a tribe it really isn´t something to be proud of. Season after season this game gets harder and harder. People like Parvati, Danielle or Russell that's played the game for their first time with immunity idols in their seasons they get an advantage to people like Boston Rob, Jerri and Sandra who have played the game without hidden immunity idols and they have no expieriences with idols or know where to find clues to an idol or find them without a clue.

Russell is not the greatest player ever, in my opinion, no matter what he says. But this move is probably the greatest I've ever seen, second- or third-ballsiest, and he is a very good player. Certainly a unique and influential one. But not the best.

Russell did rely on Parvati in HvV; had she not given her idol to Jerri, Jerri would have been out and Russell would have followed as soon as he lost an Immunity. Russel was responsible for two of the very best tribal councils. This one is the best ever but so was the one from Samoa where he got Kelly! Laura was so pissed!
Russell was MADE for TV. The way he gets up, walks up to Jeff, says: "no, not this way", turns to Coach, delivers and short speech about loyalty and then gives his HII to Parvati. It's like out of a script, a really epic srcipt. When I see survivor scenes like this one, I don't blame people who think the show is scripted. It's just too epic!!!!!!!

I admit maybe my claim of the show being manifactured is a little far-fetched. But due to the fact that Jeff always has a man crush on Mariano anyway it wouldn´t really be that surprising. He outwits, and he outlasts, and he did outplay in Samoa, but overall he has not outplayed everyone else who has played the game. I would probably put him in my top 10 players - in terms of entertainment, he'd be top 3 for sure - but not as my top 1. Russell did rely on Parvati in HvV; had she not given her idol to Jerri, Jerri would have been out and Russell would have followed as soon as he lost an Immunity. Russell wanted Parvati to play her Idol for herself, which is why he gave it to her. Nobody has played a game single-handedly or without allies. He's a great player, but not the best.

Yes I would of voted someone who 'shitted on me' because in Survivor terms that's what we call 'outplayed' I never said I wanted Russ to win anyways, I'm just saying and will forever say it, Sandra doesn't deserve to win, even more due to the fact that she boasted she was the best player of all time, psh she won once and got lucky the other time.

@starbucksmaniaclol Actually, Parvati's maneuver doesn't hold a candle to this move Russell made. The Heroes thought Russell was on their side and knew Parvati and Danielle were close and therefore saw Jerri and Sandra as targets.
I can't stand tree-hugging, snarky, ignorant, uneducated, delusional, arrogant Starbucks frequenters, and that blamed chain seems to cater to them. I proudly say I've never patronized that place and never will.
Parvati is nowhere near Russell's league.

Russell was MADE for TV. The way he gets up, walks up to Jeff, says: "no, not this way", turns to Coach, delivers and short speech about loyalty and then gives his HII to Parvati. It's like out of a script, a really epic srcipt. When I see survivor scenes like this one, I don't blame people who think the show is scripted. It's just too epic!!!!!!!

I love how Rob's answer of "Hidden Immunity Idols" compare to Jerri's answer. It's tense to see Rob's reaction changes each time. Too bad both Rob and Russ has huge egos and are so dominant so they couldn't form an alliance

Sandra under russell's wing? that so did not happen. and sandra did have several great moves and the most important one was that she was able to read the jury and convince the majority of them to vote for her. that's why she won TWICE. making her statistically the best player ever.

@Dragoondaniel uhm what was her gameplay again? the ONLY thing i could remember was that she tried to go against russell many times and failed many times as well! and you call that great game play? the only reason she won twice is because the people she was competing with were very hated by the bitter jury. do you honestly think she could pull off this kind of thing in tribal? the only somewhat memorable thing she ever did was burn russels hat which was done by russel already on s19.

@thatmimichick Well, her being anti-Russell helped her win then. She was always at the right place at the right time and she did have some great moves just that they were more subtle than Russell because the fucking producers gave him SO much airtime.

@Dragoondaniel Sandra had no strategy, she was brought along as a Goat by Russell. If the players voted on game play for once, she would have been a Goat, but Paverti would have still won.
