Blount's fumble was a huge point in the momentum of the game, so I wouldn't attribute the loss to a lackluster offense/outstanding defense. Not only that, but the "1968" offense never even showed up at the Rose Bowl! 3 yards and a cloud of dust (AKA "Tressel-ball") was what the Ducks were expecting, but it wasn't how the Bucks played. Pryor finally lived up to the hype and played well, to the chagrin of the Duck D.

This to me is perhaps the most painful loss in Oregon history. Between this, the loss to Cal in 2007, and the loss to Stanford in 2001. Those three games, Oregon just completely blew it and handed the game to their opponents.

I must have been at a different game than this video - OSU dominated: TOP (42/18), yds (419/260), Third dwn conv (11/21 vs 2/11), SCORE: 26-17. Too much ganja in Duck Town I guess.
lol @ getting a rematch with us. We were the better team from a MUCH stronger conference. You might go to the Rose next year, but we will ne in the title game facing Oklahoma if anything. WAY TO KILL THE DEMONS BUCKEYES! ON TO BIGGER AND BETTER THINGS NOW!

Agreed south ukraine, we had our chances and whether it was bad play calling late in the game or poor execution we just didn't finish the deal like we had so many games previously,,,

I am so proud of our ducks! Pac 10 champs and made it to the most prestigious of all bowl games. I get a smile on my face when i think about our season.
just decided to take a look back at our last time at the rose bowl. hopefully we fair far better in this one.

Without a couple of really bad plays, we might just come out on top in this one. Oh well, the Buckeyes played a great game and deserve it.

I went to this game. Barner really helped keep us in this and man when Blount fumbled that ball, we lost all momentum.
