@atom608 hey man, did you change the octave? if your playing in the wrong octave it will sound like shit.

You have to play in the same octave area as i do on the video, when i change to a C3 or whatever i'm doing, its not neccesary tho, you can just move the melody up in the piano roll or down, until it sounds "right", will create the same result.

yes, you can, and the answer is. It's very weak for fat sounds, it can just do simple sounds like this basshunter lead. But fat unison leads or pads, it can't do forexample.

Massive or Sylenth1 is great for that, or FL' studios own synth Harmless, check out my "Madeon Pad" remake, harmless and sylenth1 in action!

Thats because this sound is not meant to be played as chordnotes, it uses portamento, which is incompatible with more then one note at a time, aslong as you dont slide the note into each other.

Subscribe, and i'll explain.

It's just changing the octave, the sound still sounds the same, it has nothing to do with v-station at all.

You just have to program the melody a octave higher or lower in the pianoroll, that's it

I think you do it by clicking the triangle up the left corner of the "fl studio plugin" window just outside v-stations window.

there you can choice load vst bank or vst preset i think.

Hey, great tutorial!

First of all i have a few things to say that may help you.

1) You dont need to buy V-Station, just serch it on google or try here, Youtube has videos about it.

2) I had FL Studio Demo and V-Station and i did the exact same things this guy did, but the way it sounded in the end wasn't so clear.

3) Lately i got FL Studio 9 XXL Producer Edition, the same V-Station and now the way it sounds in the end is perfect AND i can save the sound as a preset.

Just my opinion.

You don't need FL to do this.

All you need is a sequencer (Cubase,Pro Tools, Logic, etc)

And look at the blue screen that shows how much i twist the knobs.

Yeah, the lead is not supposed to be a "play chord" lead.

It's just single melody kind of leadsound, if you wanna play chords you have to make a totally different preset.
