@absue I agree with you.Only now I have to concentrate on my "natural science" school.It always makes me feel dizzy....I love history so much,and that's why I uploading all this old historical movies for you guys.
If they'd tried to leave, they would have been caught in the open, with no protection at all, with women, children, and personal possessions strung out in a long line. None of them would have survived.
@Westernwayofwar That's why it's important to learn history. When you know what happened in similar cases in the past, you're more likely to realize what's probably planned for you.
@Westernwayofwar Not so. History (British history) shows that in the face of overwhelming odds - when there is absolutely no chance of winning - when death is certain, a stubborn, bloody-minded refusal to face the facts and ta otal indifference to the facts will see you through every time.

@absue Exactly, the same thing had happened at the Cawnpore massacre some 50 years earier.
