  • this looks like a great training tool. wish i had a spot for one at the house lol

  • I think this exersize is good to make you go and hunt hands!!!!

  • Yo, I think your supposed to sit on it...

  • Can't you incorporate 2 arms as human being have 2. this would be great if it resembled a human more

  • @ukmale164 But they usually punch with one hand at a time, it would be silly to build a piece of equipment that simulates a zombie with it's arms in front ;)

  • i think you can make this your self...?

  • I like the concept!

  • is there a way to make my own??? please let me know or show me some type of video, because i really want to train in wing chun but there is not school around me.

  • if i mess with opponent's one arm with both my arms

guess what he does with the other arm and my face?

  • 0:31 why did you punch the wood?

  • Looks fun, but it should have two arm posts.

  • Very nice. How much does something like this cost. Also any advantages over a normal wing chun training dummy ? Other than movement of the arm..

    Very interested in learning more.

  • He likes playing with stuff he ain't got.

  • hey were can i get that so i can train?

  • Oh man, I have to say this is very good idea...

  • Is he even hitting the top bag?

    It aint moving...

  • Sui Lim Tao, Chum Kil, Bil Gee, Wooden Dummy, Dragon Pole, Butterfly Swords.

    What form is this???

Wing Chun has been pretty good for 400 years. Should we change it?

  • hes so focused on his arms his knees have no power bro u can't be focused on your hands let them think for themselves all ur doing is putting power behind them tsk tsk tsk nice set up though i would say make the arm more resistant and tougher no pussy sticks...

  • Is it me or is this dummy pleased to see him? Sorry I coudn't resist .... nice design.

  • I have a similar set up in my school. the difference is that the spring loaded arm goes into a wing chun dummy. the spring i use is much stiffer and heavily padded.. the concept remains the same. Very good idea, just slightly different from mine. used correctly, it teaches the feel of a push or pull. plus how to "sink" when striking or blocking.

  • At the risk of sounded slightly childish...that stick looks kinda dodgy

  • I combine Wudang and Jeet Kune do Mook Jong techniques to fulfill my morning and off time mook jong routines.

  • Very cool. You didnt make it pretty enough for the rest of the youtubers awe sorry youtubers. Those are good drills. We had something similar at our school but it was totally made of wood. Thanks for sharing.

  • I bet this dude could kick any one-armed dudes ass on the entire planet!

  • u serious?

  • he could 2

  • Jim, this is a very good mechanism for training, for sure !! A good buy !!

  • looks like a giant penis

  • yea,no offense to wing chun guys.but that thang kinda looks wrong

  • you need a human to really train the relationship of active and passive energy. Why not just use a dummy?

  • that was the shittest display of wing chun i have ever seen, the training device dont look to bad, but this guy does it no justice whatsoever.

  • Hey, Man I am not the guy in video, but I do make the equipment he is training on and train W/C for about 5 years. Best advise is if you can find a school for W/C you cant go wrong. It is a very scientific art, and you will be amazed on what can be done when you learn correctly from someone who really knows the science of the art. Next best thing would be get ome good instructional dvds, and a training partner you can do countless drills with, or ,or the Rice bag trainer . Contact me@57061905147

  • Very Intriguing man. I take Karate. But knowing the vital points of Wing Chun could help me. How long have you been doing Wing Chun for? Could you give me some tips?

  • wing chun is not concentrated to the vital points

i would suggest you to learn ....

dim mak ( japanese kyusho) .........

  • Oh I see. Well I am fairly comfortable with Karate at the moment. But can you elaborate on what Din Mak is?

  • actually my dear like i said

dim mak ( the art of deadly touching)

is a science for me u learn the vital points of human body

u learn the points which is good and bad for human ......its actually also the same acupuncture points

its not a martial art but many martial artist use the points especcialy some kung fu styles

but not wing chun traditionally wing chun practioner don´t use dim mak

  • well i dont know if you still want to know some vital things on wing chun but if you do private message me and ill answer as best i can :)

  • Its great for practicing pak da and tan da drills. It doesnt look like it can provide gan da drills. Can the padded spring arm be pulled down to simulate low punch or kick to allow gan da drills?

  • Hey thanks man. James from Warrior. Every piece of equipment has a limitation, and this one is ideal for upper gate drills as you see in video. When you dont have a partner it is perfect. You can mount the padded arm 90 degrees to back board instead of a 45 degree angle as you see. If you like more info give me a call at 570 619-5147, or send me your number. I can send you our product dvd if you are interested. Thanks Jim

  • Hey Peacemaker,James from Warrior. I am not sure my emails went through to you, but if you contact me I can give you some info on how to make or purchase one. Thanks Jim 570 619-5147.

  • Wow, that's a pretty cool idea. Is it mounted to a separate post or is it a garage support? Looks like a great way to stick to opponent arm and use full power strikes, elbow, biu, fak, knee, etc... Then you can play golf (clubs in background) on the off days. :)

  • Hey, James from Warrior. Yes it is mounted to a 4 x 4 post in my garage. It is a great tool for exchanging energy when you dont have a partner. Very observant, seeing those golf clubs. Cant wait to break those out in a couple of months. contact for product info. Jim 570 619-5147
