  • dont angelfish eat neon tetras?

  • i wish i could get small fishes but my turtles would eat them so quick...

  • could i put neon tetras white cloud fish guppies and one angel fish dont really care if i can put whit cloud fish in

  • @ZachZim65

I wouldn't put guppies and I'm not sure about white clouds (minnows?). I don't know about much about them but a brief search on Google says they're peaceful with other fish but not to be put with larger fish that may eat them. Well, the only time my angel fish goes after my after a fish in my tank is when there are just a few flakes left on the surface of the water, the angel fish will lunge at my platy that I had put in there a few months ago. My angel is a greedy eater.

  • add some plants for the shrimp to hide in if threatend

  • @12fishguy

I plan to when I get some more shrimp. I don't have those shrimp anymore and plan on replacing the sand with gravel.

  • I have a 30 gallon aquarium with a common pleco, an angelfish, blod parrot, and a snail and i wanted to add some more color i thought maybe a second angel or this neon tera can i keep them together? and will they school?

  • I have kept the neon tetras with one angel fish but I have never had two angel fish together in the same tank with the other my fish.

I've had good luck with the neon tetras with my angel fish. Yes, the tetras will school but not tightly unless threatened. I've heard the rummynose tetras school close together.

I've thought about getting some cardinal tetras or green fire tetras but will wait some time in the future to decide if I'll get some.

  • i was just wondering if it would be ok to put shrimp in with the bigger fish i have such as goumais, large angel fish, and dojo loach

  • I'm not sure about the large angel fish. It may work. Provide some kind of hiding shelter for the shrimp in case any fish get aggressive toward the shrimp. Best start off with ghost shrimp since they're the least expensive (about 25 cents each).

  • The quality is VERY good in my opinion

  • you need a lot of plants for tetra and angelfish

  • Yes and I want to put a piece of mopani driftwood in it also. Thanks for the comment!

Sorry for the late reply as I have not be online much.

  • How well does your angelfish & tetras do together - does it eat them? because i was thinking of buying an angelfish for mine, which also has about 6 small neon tetras :P

  • They get along well together. I have one angelfish that is probably about 1 inch in length, maybe a little longer. Also in the tank are 4 neon tetras, 3 glowlight tetras, 1 lemon tetra, 1 scissortail rasbora, 3 otocinclus, 3 platies, 2 bronze corydoras and 2 ghost shrimp in a 29 gal. tank.

The angelfish will try to nip at the platies when skimming for any leftover food and tried to chase a neon but the neon was to quick. Hardly any bad temperament with my fish. It does not eat them.
