Ahh Tenth Avenue, when I was at the RMIT I used to pay $1.00 for an hour at lunch time and go and see the bands that started at 12pm, as you said, it was light fun entertainment, no shitheads, just people who liked music. I was in a band myself at the time and still play using the Maton Fyrbyrd that i have now and use as my log on.
my friend and I spent quite alot of time at 10th Ave. Steve & The Board, Max Hamilton & the Impacts and lots of guest bands. Is it bad to say those were the days :-)
@sharziel Spent many happy days there my self. I loved the fact that all the popular bands were there live for us to dance to. It's a pity the kids these days don't have venues such as this that's a none alcaholic venue. Just soft drinks and toasted sandwhiches.

I loved Tenth Avenue, I remember that's where Molly Meldrom use to be a DJ, he was about 17, so many wonderful memories :-)
