  • Does anyone know what this piece is called? Thanks!! Its epic(:

  • The Kerrywhistle website hosts a number of videos of whistle players who play other whistles than Kerrywhistles, but they are hosted because they have purchased/play Phil's whistle(s) at some point. :)

  • btw does someone know whats the name of this song?

  • The tune is "Rosbeg" from Flook's 2nd CD "Rubai". He's playing a low F whistle (not sure if that's an Overton or a Kerry Pro though).

  • looks like an overton, because kerry pros have the external tuning slide and overtons have an internal.

  • @Buckeye67 My guess is it's a Kerry Pro, as this was recorded by Phil Hardy, who makes Kerry Whistles.

  • You can look in the website in gave.

  • Very nice! Does anyone know where the best place to buy this type of whistle is? and instruction on learning to play like this? Man I love the sound of it!!

  • its an overton lowwhistle, i think its in A but i could be terribly wrong xD (im horrible with notes)

  • Okay my answere comes a little bit late but seems to be an Overton Low F Whistle made by Colin Goldie.

  • @DerEllich i thought so too until i saw kerrywhistles on the lower left corner. now, im just confused haha but its probably a kerry whistle.

  • @BehorWindpipe Yes this is indeed a kerry whistle. Sorry, my mistake, but the maker of the kerry whistles has many videos uploaded where it says "kerrywhistles" but what you can see and hear is one of Colins intruments. A bit confusing, you see ;-)

  • Ah, yes... Rosbeg... Such a beautiful tune. I wish this had the air before it too, though..
