The problem with having 2 cars and a back up plan is that the 2nd car has the 1st car as a buffer zone and is never in "immediate" danger. LoL Amazing Footage though. I don't think I've ever seen footage of a Tornado backtrack yet either.

wow. that is impressive. Macksville is on the border between Stafford and Barton counties. About 15-20 miles southwest of Great Bend.

These kinds of storms do considerable damage to the various wheat and corn fields every year.

@bambam4LSU Um... Yup probably would be a good idea lol. If I were you I would go with something a bit bigger and faster. Have you ever chased a storm before? If you have, you know they can change their heading, or pop up and down with ZERO warning! So My suggestion is get familiar with doppler radar, and keep your distance from that old "hook echo" And be careful because tornados aren't always as visable as the one in the vid. They can be enshrouded in rain and run up on you real quick.

Its funny to me because the guy that recorded the willmar Mn tornado didn't talk at all and the video is probably the best one out of a tornado forming.
