  • i love this type of playing,,very refreshing to the ears..

  • beautiful

  • This is just great, thanks!

  • well, i believe kottke has a great skill and i think he is far better than all in guitar music. i think Orange room is his best. i rglad somebody focus on him. Thanks for all !

  • @13Orcun i would say he is the best slide guitar player...but i believe you can't say one professional musician is better than another....it's all a matter of taste....i prefer andrew york, but sometimes i want a fast pace so i prefer doyle dykes or tommy emmanuel...i don't know how hard his music is to play, but i bought all of tommy's books, and one of doyle dykes....tommy definitely beats doyle when considering which is more technical and precise, but doyle is much more creative and soulful!

  • @xxxslayerxxx666 thanks for your explaining about guitarists, indeed i know little about guitar music and of course my opinion is so romantic but i guess Kottke has an extraordinary mind in technique. if you ask me why do you say that. i see the dissonant and dynamic sounds in ryhtym. He integrates bass and treble sounds together and there are different developing haunting melodies. those charm me.

  • @13Orcun ohh and i forgot to mention don ross! but i do believe kottke has the best tone for how technical his playing is....and tone is the most important thing when dealing with a very delicate instrument!

  • This is awesome! Leo Kottke is one of the most creative and talented guitarists in the world... imho.

  • @AfricamAddict really....no reason to be humble opinion....or honest opinion...whatever it means now...I have loved Leo since '74...could never....ever...play as well as him...if I did...I wouldn't be doing what I do now...

  • Nice possibilities re: Leo's masterworks!

Saw an interpretive dance at Northwestern University upon my return from Vietnam in 1972: "Vaseline Machine Gun"! Make war no more!

  • Interesting how you show the music visually and run a line along it to show the notes being played and listening to them at the same time. Cool !

  • In my dreams I could play Leo Kottke's music (ha, ha) but thanks for making me aware of this class. Glad to know there are people out there that have the nerve and talent to even attempt it! Good luck!

  • Good job guys.

  • Thank-you for the Info...I am a fanatic of his music. When I depart this Earth, I certainly hope Leo is playing in my part of Heaven!!!!

  • Very cool. Thanks.
