I mean come one!! the Labyrinth, the Castle Beyond the Goblin City, the Escher room, the goblins, it was all too beautiful and magical to turn down!! not to mention the fact tht the Goblin King himself was eye candy AND he was promising to be your slave. This movie is pure magic and i still cherish it more than any other to this day

@topbluffa1 Actually you're wrong. Brian Froud gave an interview about this subject (he's one of the co writers of this movie and the concept artist). Jareth is supposed to tempt her into adulthood, the Labyrinth teaching her to stop being a child and turn into a woman, and take the responsibilities that come with adulthood.

It's why Jareth was so bitter through the movie. It was Sarah's dream, Sarah's wish, and he was written into the role of villain because Sarah wished him to be.

In Hinduism they don't actually recognize any central evil force, like the Devil, but they're non-duality, they don't think of good and evil, they think of it as different levels of understanding. An evil person in our way of looking at it is just a person of very low understanding of life in Hinduism. A very good person is a person of high understanding in life.

It would have been nice if it was on the album. Sadly The Labyrinth came out in 1986 and this song was on his Heathen album released in 2002 but I agree this song fits the movie very well...some people even state that his song was written in reflection to the movie...who knows though it would be awesome if it was...
