The bottom path is not very interesting in particular. It's basically like every abyss level.

That definitely isn't a snail/slug. If you pause the video and look at the sprite you can tell it isn't. For one thing, moles in video games usually wear sunglasses and these are. They also have claws and a nose... ahhh whatever no one cares.
