é uma composição que foi feita especificamente para o filme, misturando um vocal, barulho de coração batendo e um som grave por baixo. Não demos um nome específico para ela...
what a sad history of brazil!i read that amazing book by Mario Vargas LLosa about Canudos and it really took my breath away, how cruel it was! i wish i could understand what those people say.
The tagline is - Canudos, a history that Brazil would rather forget, but it is still alive at its people's memory. The first old man says that a lot of people died in Canudos War. The old lady tells that her grandparents and an aunt died at there. The second old woman says that the war was over and then was started again, it never ends.
It is said too that Antonio Conselheiro's head was took to Salvador and was lost in a great fire on Medicine College at 1905. At the end of the video the woman says that the only thing that don't finish is God, everything else has an end.
I recommend the Euclides da Cunha's "Os Sertoes", it is such a great Brazilian literature's masterpiece.
Don't understand a word..Could you please translate , coz I'm interested on this Canudos event.(Just finish reading The War of the End of the World)Thank ya...
We`re glad with your interess, but, excuse me the question: why you don`t go to learn portuguese, an ancient and historical language, like the english ?
Well, godoffredus, that would be very complicated for me due to the fact that i'm Romanian and I already assimilate some french, german and greek. My brains are kind of loaded :). But some good guy did translate me this on private. Thank you
@PandaRhey The novel you mentioned "the war of the end of the world" is fiction based loosely on the history of Canudos. The author, Vargas Llosa, traveled to Brazil and learned about the Canudos war. Later, he incorporated what he heard in his novel. In order to get the accurate facts, you must read a historical book. I'd suggest "Os Sertões" by Euclides da Cunha
Como ste vídeo foi gravado se os relatos históricos dizem que não sobrou ninguém de canudos?
