it's definitely nice to have China there as your neighbor. World's most prosperous and potentially most powerful which should give Russia a needed boost forward.
I simply couldn't agree more with Mr. Planettan, though I fear of saying it on a forum because of all the blind patriotism that is characteristic of Americans. The U.S. has been hampering the world and living FAR beyong its means for FAR too long. On the flipside, Russia, India, China, all of the so-called "third world" countries (what a disgusting, insulting name I might add) have had their patience, have suffered enough. It's time for the rest of the world to tell the U.S. fuck off.
The immediate effect of this deal will be modrate, BUT in the long term - 10..15 years it will be HUGE. The long term aim for both countries is REAL COOPERATION IN DEVELOPING NEW TECHNOLOGIES. BOTH need it badly cos new techs costs HUGE resourses and west REJECTS to cooperate REALLY with both Russia and China. West want Russia to be source of raw materials, China to be "chip labour". Both Russia and China try hard to avoid such a prospect.
cis and china would be two major players to counter this new world order america wants for everyone. but smaller neighboring countries in central asia are also important cardsd in helping this emerging crisis.
yes, but you have to exam why they want to sell out. in this day and age everyone wants to live prosperously. if russia has a strong economic system they would not want to sell out to nato or eu, especially the smaller nations. they want to be protected by someone strong; someone with the hardware and software.
Japan is okay in technological fields nowadays, it is declining with more competitors on the market. But agolosha meant China could access high tech from Russia. By his analysis, it's only win-win situation for Russia only as it gains from exports of energy and technology. However, in reality, Russia is actually pretty lagged behind on high techs. Yes, Russia has some nice weapons, but even for them they're leftovers from the Cold War era.
Step 1. Make russia, china and japan 1 continent instead of 3 countries in 2 continents
Step 2. Kill USA, they are 5% of the worlds population, but use 30% of the worlds resources
Step 3. ????
Step 4. Vodka, electronics and sex robots
