  • who cares if he retires. he still keeps his benefits, makes probably more than the average american of off retirement. oh yeah and he doesnt have to worry about getting shot at. For all we know he did it on purpose. most of our commanders get away with anything, now if he got a dishonorable then thats a different story

  • I think the Rolling Stone set this guy up from a bar where he thought it was ALL off the record, AND I agree with General McCrystal. Obama is the worst President we've ever had because he conducts this Country behind Closed Doors because WE Dont need to KNOW everything. Wait till November Congress, House.. just wait. America is going to become a tidal wave against Socialism in Our White House.

  • General McChrystal is a true American hero and I will always be thankful and grateful to Americans like him, who devote their lives to America. Certain people don't treat our Generals, especially heroic ones like him, with the respect and honor they so rightfully deserve. If you ask me, he joins a list of some of the greatest Generals in American history. I hope he writes a book!! General McChrystal is a great man and a great American!!!!!!!!

  • go Stanley McChrystal!!!! FUCK YOU OBAMA!!!!

  • Our beloved media and the government is trying to make Chrystal look bad by many means. Do a search under his name and see that it is hard to find a direct quote of the criticism he expressed about Obama. Instead there is lots of junk about nonsene. We are so Democratic that criticizing the boss got him fired. I wish Obama took the criticism and learned from it to become a better President! Obama, Bush, Kerry, Cheney, the details are different but the big picture is same! Thanks for posting!

  • "Look, I went into journalism to do

journalism, not advertising. My views are critical

but that shouldn't be mistaken for hostile - I'm

just not a stenographer. There is a body of

work that shows how I view these issues but

    that was hard-earned through experience,

not something I learned going to a cocktail

party on fucking K Street. That's what reporters are supposed to do, report the story."

Michael Hastings of Rolling Stone distinguishing himself

from Weekly Standard, NR, Fox News.

  • McChrystal is a huge liberal, and therefore subversive. Once this critical fact gets processed into the national psyche, then it's obviously normal for him to do something completely outré. Ha, Rolling Stone indeed....

  • Have to say, this is one of the greatest Americans today! He is the kind of man that founded this great nation!

Obama is a loosing approv everyday. Because people are opening thier eyes and seeing what he is. A puppet wimp-Bag! My God read history people!

  • General McChrystal should have known better! In this country it's illegal to question Obama the Great Messiah! Just shut up and drink the kool Aid!!!

  • Obama is a weak, confused and amateur president.

    Obama is worse than Carter.

  • as a Obama supporter, i think MacChrystal shouldnt have been fired. he said something that may have been compiled after a year of soldiers killed, everchanging war stratagies, and shrinking war support from the americans. Obama has never served in the militay and don't kno the weight of the burdens MacChrystal has been caring.and it came out.i don't know if this is a good idea but would letting MacChrystal use his COIN(read in rolling stone mag) strategy?just a idea?

  • McChrystal was a no nonsense general trying to win and look after his men. Petraeus will play the game and already has his head up Berry's posterior. We will never leave Afghanistan and soon will be in Iran as 12 US warships move throught the Suez Canal. With healthcare and capntrade we are witness to the Fall of the Republic and the Constitution...prepare..

    watch?v=VebOTc-7shU

  • We need another George Patton. Someone who knows how to fight and win a war and will go to any length to achieve it. Someone who doesn't let the press or politics get in his way. Someone with experience, wisdom, and Integrity. Someone who isn't afraid to stand up to the President and tell it like it is. If we had a George Patton today, he would've rolled into Washington with a few battalions of tanks and a few hundred thousand loyal soldiers behind him by now.

  • 0bama's such a CHUMP! And now Barryboy's publicly dissed by the General.

He only said aloud what everyone else already knows.

    President McChrystal 2012!

  • First let me say that I have never cared for Obama, since his speech at the Demo. Convention for Kerry. On one hand, you just do not criticize the Commander-in-Chief while serving for him; yet on the other hand, McChrystal is over there, and is aware of what is working and what is not working, Obama isn't. It would be a shame to relieve McChrystal of his duties at this point of the game . . . .

  • Water squirt gun Barry upset with the article in dope read Rolling Stone Magazine.

  • president soetoro is the worst president ever

  • No matter what you think of GENMcchrystal or PRESObama,I think we can all agree that it is time 2 bring our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan now!PRES Obama said he would bring our troops home from Iraq in 16 months and he lied. The American people no longer support these wars and want our troops home now.I credit GENMcchrystal 4 speaking out as 2 many officers in the USA military R to cowardly 2 speak out 4 their troops.During my time in theMarines I could count on 1 hand officers Irespected

  • general mcChrystal had every reason to say what he said is anyone happy with obama i am most certainly not i feel he had every right espically under freedom of speach

  • @crazyguy705 But he didn't critize obama? Did he? If so thats news to me. :o The vice president though got some smacks. And a couple of others.

  • Why did he do it? Obama and his administration are liars and crooks that are trying to take this country down for the love of money and power, but why would McChrystal do this? It's interesting that Obama says that McChrystal used poor judgement. I'd say they both used poor judgement. Why in the heck is our president not supporting his general? Given that McChrystal VOTED for this idiot in the Whitehouse, I'd say this is nothing more than a karma payback.

  • If you can't criticize your boss, then liberals should all resign for criticizing the American people, their boss. Insulting the patriots of this country. Going to other countries and talking about how horrible the US is to me is an act of treason and Obama needs to present his resignation immediately. He spoke bad about his boss, us. Impeach Obama now. Save America and stop this madness. We all know this guy has never run jack except how to lie and deceive people.

  • McChrystal knows more than anybody else abt situation in afghanistan. Obama will make him scapegoat for his failures in afghanistan and try to revive his approval ratings by firing him. McChrystal should be honest and stick to what he said because he is right.

  • This is a fucking distratcion, something to take up air time while you are slowly being cooked in a frying pan.... Wake the fuck up now!!!!!! The New World Odor aint coming, its here!!!!

  • good for the general he needs a medal

  • Обама идиот.

  • Obama ought to give McChrystal a medal for taking the American Public's focus off the "golf" crisis. Obama is a weak usurper. McChrystal is at least manly. Go manly Stanley.

  • @masterrod Obama lost so many young voters after that phoney staged town hall meeting where he laughed off hemp.. Everyone was immediately calling him a phoney (as they should)Young people are increasingly informed..Hopefully most of them will learn from their mistake of voting for him..I know I have..

  • Gooooooooo Manly,Stanly Mcchrystal! He spoke the truth. By the way Biden-BITE ME! Obama, I wouldn't even want your teeth that close to my a--.

  • @reginaDexant - ....made me chuckle ,,, that close to ....

  • This is Obama's out with the Afghanistan War Effort. If Obama fires General McChrystal and the effort is lost, Obama blames the General. If Obama keeps the General and he loses the war effort, it is due to the General not putting forth his best effort. If in either case the Troops and the military leadership win, Obama steps forward and takes the credit, In any case ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC back the President up on this. Unfortunately the Troops will be the ones to suffer.

  • Well it's refreshing to hear somebody speak their mind honestly.

  • Yknow i did mention a few years back that politicians need to stay out of the way when our militaries are doing their job.Now we hear that our forces have "restrictions" on themselves?Wasnt this how the politicians handled the war in vietnam?Fiddling where they shouldnt be fiddling right in the middle of a jihadist surge.

  • Thank God for McChrystal. It is not unAmerican to speak the truth or your opinion. McChrystal just said what the majority of Americans with brains think. This is a true American hero. He sacrificed himself to save his country. We need more honorable men like this that will stand up to the evil that has plagued our great nation. Liberals can't handle the truth. They don't want anyone to criticize them at all even though they are the most horrible people on the face of the earth. Forgive them all.

  • @MotionFrequency No he isn't, McChrystal fights war like a liberal, he's more concerned with image than results, just look at the way he has handcuffed the engagement criteria for soldiers since he's been responsible for Afghanistan.

Don't take my word for it though, go back and look at the terms of engagement before and after his appointment, proper shoot scenarios have been restricted in casualties have gone UP.

If you want a military hero, look at Curtis LeMay!

  • @MotionFrequency - That's what I'm talkin' about....too.

  • Obama is an incompetent oaf...too bad it came down to McChrystal's sacrifice to get the truth on T.V.

  • @Armoredfury193 Boy aint that the truth and there is no scale to measure the incompetence and its to bad this Great General fell on his sword.

  • mcChrystal keep speaking your mind , obama is clueless and you know it

  • Ok libtards,Now call stanley a redneck and a racist.Thats all you have is insults and rhetoric.

  • @cobraman96 The Lefties are already calling for that.Frickin morons. Its their constant fallback position when Barry O messes up.Facts say otherwise though.

  • Obama is a celebrity. He does'nt have a clue what it's like to be a soldier or President. He inherited this war and the shoes are too big for him to fill. Why does McChrystal have to explain himself? McChrystal should man-up and tell Obama "I said it", " I feel it", " I know it'. Now what?

  • Many Americas are not happy with this administration General. It is good to know that you can see truth. George Orwell said, "In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act. " You did a revolutionary thing you told the truth. I pray that we Americans remember we are a free people with Natural Rights. Our sons and daughters are dieing overseas for political reasons now. Thank You for defending Truth, Justis, and the American People General.

  • Any Idea when this meeting is going to take place?

  • I thought the article did a better job of voicing the frustration the soldiers have with the ROE than any specific insubordination from McChristal.

  • LOL i think our military will have to take back American from our radical sharia law lol obamma

  • Comment removed

  • Don't fire McCrystal! Give him a medal of honor for having the BALLS to speak the truth about Obama and his Wimpy administration!

  • disappointed...is the right word

  • McChrystal is just speaking the truth. it took Obama 70 days to meet with McChrystal about the war.

  • It's about time someone said something he is truly a RANGER SPEC OPS man he leads from the front not the back RANGERS LEAD THE WAY AND SEMPERFI!!!

  • I had my doubts about him when he wanted more troops; that is not the way to fight in Afghanistan. This general is either stupid or rebellious. Either way, he should be replaced. Also, did you hear that budget director extraordinaire Peter Orszag is also jumping ship? The rats are fleeing SS Nobama.

  • Impeach Obamie!

  • 1. Active duty military personnel must not publicly undermine the commander-in-chief. Gen McChrystal knows this, and was effectively "falling on his sword" to highlight problems with Obama.

    2. What is attributed to the general is certainly accurate about the ineptitude of Obama. Obama is far worse than what the general apparently suggested. Far, far worse. Obama hates America. Obama is not merely un-American, he is anti-American. As are all leftists.

  • I support General McChrystal. Though he did express this inappropriately and unprofessional-like, it needed to be said because Biden and the Obama administration have no clue how to handle this. They don't even have a clue as to how to handle the country! Get them out.

  • that's what he gets for voting for obama

  • Good for the General for expressing his First Amendment Freedom of Expression. This president doesn't listen to anyone, especially the military. Obama has zero military experience because he never served.in the military and he thinks he can tell the military what to do? All Obama wants to do is run and hide and if we pull out now, it'll give the terrorists the chance to regroup, rearm and plot to attack this country again. Obama should listen to his military leaders, not disrespect them.

  • Obama is one big fraud upon the USA. Why didn't a lot of people see that this man was not only unqualified for the office but a danger to our nation.

  • Just announced Barak Obama is furious because McChrystal exercised his freedom of speech and Washington sees it as derogatory comments.

Allow mw to talk my thoughts, and say to Washington HANDS OFF PENTAGON, in the end is the military who sacrificed for the American people, not the politicians in Washington who their first act of war on 9/11 was to run in the bunker and leave us all exposed.

  • The truth is the truth....he has every right to say what he feels......he is looking out for all of us.....to hell with Obama and his ego.

  • Here you have a lawyer, Obama, who hasn't a clue about fighting a war who chooses not to listen to his General who has a clue. This is the worst time in our history to have an admin like we have now; a major spender of other peoples $ in a time of living on debt; bailing out union pensions but not 401K plans, just a disaster & people still have the gall to defend this admin. as though they are part of a Cult who ignores what befalls their very eyes. THEY R INEPT, WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?

  • Two words...

    Ron Paul

  • If he see that Obama is not ready to lead... what the heck is wrong with the rest of us... remember this is Obama's guy.. not a right wing guy... ????

  • @masterod1 The good news is, I have two college kids who were raised to be thinkers, unlike most of their peers...They tell me that it is getting harder and harder to find anyone who supported Obama. And when they ask if they will vote for him in 2012, the answer is either I don't know yet or probably not. Obama is loosing left cover.

...When your enemy is destroying himself, get out of his way...

  • I'm in a quandary! Although I know it is in our countries interest for the general to speak out and express his low views of the criminal gang now in the White House, I must call his intelligence and judgment into question as he claims to have voted for this idiot who now sits in the oval office. Anyone possessing more than one brain cell knew obama would turn out to be a liar/leftist/disaster.

  • The man has buyers remorse. He's intitled to make mistakes just like anyone else. Like most Americans were wondering how and where the hell did this guy really come from. He has questionable friends & background? questionable birth certificate? Just what does he stand for? He seems to be on his own agenda with total disregard for the American Constitution.Im affraid we've been bamboozled!!!

    '

  • If McChrystal voted for Obama, he was not fit to be a General anyway. He showed very poor judgment and a lack of insight. Truth is there is no General that would be happy with Obama. That would be like having a boxing trainer that tells you to go into the ring but don't throw punches.

  • @hawkermustang Well said.

  • @hawkermustang

I wouldn't believe he voted for Obama unless there is proof of it. That's an unsubstantied claim that I'm sure the white house wants people to believe, because they don't want people to stand behind McCrystal. I'll just say that I would not be surprised at all if he did NOT vote for Obama.

  • @hawkermustang

I was starting to feel bad for the general, but,

he voted for who?? I can't believe it

  • @jolow2 I know it's crazy!

Obama is the WORST & we tried to tell everyone ahead of time!

  • @ConservativeNewMedia Now that's no news!! As long as the US keeps on electing their president based on who can rais the most money for their campain, you will NEVER get the "right" guy for a president.

    Europe

  • @hawkermustang

McCain wouldn't have been ANY different.

Only true independence from parties can win. Ron Paul 2012!
