What bothers me is not so much the lack of vocals, the lyrics were gibberish anyway, but the fact a great deal of the tune is now missing and was not substituted.
was gutted the 360 port had this... i loved the original theme with the lyrics. it got you fucking pumped to play the game!... i havent finished it yet... but i get this means the equally awesome cosmic eternity theme at the end will also be absent :(
to be honest, i like both versions of this theme. but from my opinion, the instrumental version would be great for a nice comeback (and by saying comeback, i mean the HD version lol).
@grubby05 I believe the reason why the vocal isn't there is because of the person who made the lyrics died. So perhaps they have to go with copyright issues and stuff like that.
@vicsedobean Yeah I've been doing a little reading online and heard the same on a forum, though when searching for the two artists associated with the song on google and Wikipedia, there is nothing mentioned about either of them being deceased :-/ Either way, it's a shame it's absent, because everything else about the port is fantastic.
@theblehedgehog No, I believe the name is Casey Rankin. Masafumi Ogata is the one who did the Arrangement and Music. Casey Rankin actually did the LYRICS. And since he is dead, they probably have copyright issues to use it in the game most likely.

They've totally slaughtered this, the vocals are a big part of the structure of this song, just doesn't have the same feel without them.
