when i first listened to this, i wondered why it didn't end with the gold and silver credits. But now i like how it ends with the music from route 27, the first route and beginning of the journey in kanto. It's almost reminding us that pokemon will never end for us, the players, in the same way that it doesn't end for the game's protagonist
