Nearly 17 years on from first hearing this classic, it still almost brings a tear to my eye and a lump in the throat. From the almost mystical sounding opening chords, to the inspiring Maya Angelou sample, followed by natural sounding Amen beats.

This always takes me back to my raving days.Early in the morning, when everyone has danced themselves to exhaustion, and LTJ Bukem would play the last set for the night. MDMA come down, sucking on a fat joint, friendly vibes all round - AND THIS TUNE!!!

Excellent. Used to listen this. Even caught him in the hoxton sq thing the metal heads used to have. He was a cut above the rest then, including goldie. Seems forgoten by the media - but he was a big deal back in 1991 (best age of empires / pyramid song mix I ever heard 1 week after I heard Mickey Finn drop it and I still rate that fella), where as golden teeth seemed to appear when the media focus did. Read into that what you will. Only one did not do James Bond

Subgenres are for the weak - LTJ / Aphex and a few others just are on their own thing really. Sure there may be something that has a bit of their sound, but you can tell an LTJ or AT track when you first start listening to it.
