Think Copeland tried to revive Numan's "Sci Fi" Era but with Jam and Lewis in mind.
Good light show though and if it wasn't for the IRS deal I would have never got into Numan's work at all. In the states he was relegated as a 1 hit wonder for almost a decade.
I want that outfit except with my name on the back. I'd wear it everywhere I went then do those jump poses he does in people's faces, Then strut away so they can see my name in stones.
Miles Copeland really took Gary off his pace.....I understand this was the 80's and very few escaped it without embaressment, but even still, Gary Numan is cooler than anyone will ever be.
This was done ( i think ) on the last night at the London Hammersmith Odeon on the Metal Rhythm tour 1988. There is a video of it out but i dont think its on DVD yet??
jeez i travelled to that concert from manchester shite was it that long ago slept on train floor going home went to his big 5-0 concert in manchester this year where he got his cake great years
...one thing is certain...whatever Numan you preferred...new-wave Gary, disco Gary or industrial-goth Gary...he always puts on a great show!

even in the late 80s he still put on a great show, though the costume went too far. would be great it the whole concert ever saw the light of day

Did you ever see him live pre-industrial those concerts were amazing, he's a shadow of what he use to be onstage.
