the nexus one did came to verizon. it was the droid incredible. HTC even states that if Verizon customers wanted to purchase a nexus 1, then they should go order the droid incredible. It's basically the same thing except the incredible has 8 megapixel camera, fast, and everything the nexus 1 dosnt has,

google has pulled the plug on the nexus going to verizon because a better android phone (specs wise) is already coming to verizon it is called the "htc incredible, or the droid incredible" oh well personally im could care less, im waiting for the iphone :D

I might be considered a dumbass if I worked high up in Verizon or Apple and didn't know the iPhone was coming to Verizon, however they keep that stuff secret. It doesn't hurt to be respectful, especially cause it makes you sound stupid in this very situation.

@MrJam1858 I don't really think it is real. Because why would they charge more for the phone on Verizon VS. T-Mobile. That part doesn't make sense to me. The second is I know Google is a big enough company to not make as big enough mistake as to "accidentally post" the pricing for a phone not even available yet. Fake? Yes, I believe it's photoshopped. I've chosen to not believe any rumors about the Nexus One. There are too many. I'm just going to wait for Google's official word.

@MrJam1858 The march 23 (false) rumor made me think that the HTC Sense UI probably won't be on the Nexus One either, considering the phone is out on T-Mobile without it. Why would they put it on the Verizon model if they didn't on the T-Mobile model? People photoshop things and post false news articles to make people come read their article and gain popularity to the site. All the rumors in the above video are probably false. all we know for sure is that there is one and its coming soon.

Rumors are saying next week. But again that's a rumor.. just like March 23 was. And that didn't happen. So I'm hoping. I want that phone too. lol.

What I suggest you do is go to "google (dot) com / phone". Click "buy now". Go to the bottom. And click the remind me when new products are available link. They will send you an email when a Verizon Nexus One (or Vodafone even) comes available.

I don't see it happening for a while. iPhone is a GSM phone. While Verizon is a CDMA network. The two are opposites and Apple would specifically have to make a CDMA version for the iPhone to work on Sprint and AT&T. AT&T and Apple have an exclusivity contract which means no other networks get the iPhone except for AT&T. When that expires, we might see a Verizon iPhone. But right now... not for a while.

That's a good idea. I'll be doing the same. As of right now, it is the best phone on the market (Nexus One). However, as time progresses better phones will probably take up that position. But that doesn't make the Nexus One a bad phone. It will always be a great Android Smartphone Device.
