Hi fella, a good dome headed pellet of a mid weight would be better in general than any hollow point or pointed one. In fact I wouldn't use a pointed pellet personally, and only use a hollow point up to 25yds ish. I've also used the daystate Li's and they are pretty good too.

@brickyC I think im gonna go for the .177 RWS superdomes . Ive had nothing but good results from well made RWS pellets. People have said they are also hooked on RWS real ammo. Gonna be sticking these in a Crosman 1377 / 585 fps 8.7J pumpmaster classic air pistol, witch im shure your familiar with it.

Nice shooting mate! Arteriole spray is generally a good sign of a instant kill. Check my channel I have a couple vids on there of my hw100 .22 and I love that gun. So smooth :)

Yeah Buz, it does look like it, but it was hit about 1/2" behind its eye. The "explosion" must have been soft skull and brain tissue!!! Both were instant kills anyway, and I was well chuffed after waiting for ages for some to appear LOL!
