@stardude444 Its kinda hard to tell since the quality got really low when uploading, but the right side is 480p and left is 480i, at the end when you see the title you might be able to see more of a difference with the bottom letters, and if you see it live the quality is a lot better.
@jjalepeno55 I think it might depend on your tv, the maximum HD I can get in my tv is 720p, but playing the Wii in 480p does inprove the color and edges, everything will look a lot more defined. Brawl and mario galaxy do look great in 480p. Also see if you can get the nintendo cables or ones with good quality since I've seen reports that some models are quite fragile.
@jjalepeno55 The Wii does not support hdmi, the maximum resolution is 480p. It's still a good upgrade from standard definition. The cables you have to use are ones that have 3 plugs for video and 2 for audio.
You could search for images of "wii compnent" to see how the cables look like and "wii component comparison" for a better idea since my videos didn't have the quality I wanted.
The intro is pre-rendered thus this comparison is pretty pointless.

Fail, which one is which? Both look exactly the same in this video, and is this recorded with a cam...? o_O
But I know that "p" is better than "i" and what they mean.
Wii component resolution in 480p is about 854 x 480, it varies a bit between some games.
