It's also revealed that in the Tenchi Muyo! OVA Series, Washuu had a child with a man from her past, but had to give him up, due to pressure from the man's family. It's one of the sadder episodes. It's almost as sad as the episode where Ryoko wants to comfort Tenchi after his mom dies, but can't even touch or hold him.

They didn't release the whole original Tenchi Muyo series yet. They released like the last 1/3 of the whole series, which is made up of OVAs and stuff. They released Tenchi in Tokyo and Tenchi Universe in complete series DVD sets, though.

There was nothing awkward or out of place, every actor seemed to be the perfect fit for the role they took on. Does she sound like a drag queen? Maybe. But it's also obvious that shes just having fun with Tenchi. She doesn't sound like that throughout the entire series.
