its only running 10 pounds its a t3/t4 turbo...and its currently getting rebuild and should be done as of may 2008 ..the motor went after about 2 weeks after the injectors were fixed...its just not made to handle the power going from 200 stock hp to 390hp ..more videos coming soon though

Depends on the condition the engine was in prior to adding the Turbo. The L36 3800 actually has some of the strongest internals in the GM line of engines. I dropped in a P-61 Turbo/intercooler kit from Cartuning Performance. Only engine modifications I did was replace the lifters, added roller rocker arms and newer, stronger valves/springs. The entire bottom end is still stock. The weakest link in that package is the 4T65 transaxle.

Shouldnt you be running lower boost with an n/a engine. The compression ratio on that engine is way to high for that much boost.

no you dont need to. i have a N/A with a supercharger, on it. im running a 3.10 pulley with no problems at all. plus i have a S1X cam, ported and polished heads, headers,FWI.a ported a gen V blower. all the good stuff
