@Saralv hhhe liked little boys, how is that straight. Use Usher as a reference... or the future wife beating Chris Brown. But to say Micheal Jackson is straight is to say Nascar is a drag race.
Miss you Jimmy aka Baltimora! We have lost too many geat musicians and artists to AIDS! Could you imagine what kind of music there would be today had they all lived!!
You may not believe what this song REALLY means. Find out at the blog SongSense.info. They've got all the details. Seriously, all the stuff they tell you there is incredible.
I remember getting a blowjob with this song in the background at the "Club Tropicana" Resort in Mexico .... some of those local girls get straight 2 it for some peanuts in return.
Yes, Jimmy was the frontman of the group but keyboardist Maurizio Bassi sang vocals on many of the songs, including Tarzan Boy. Jimmy did indeed lip sync to Maurizio's vocals.
I met Jimmy in 1977, he was working at a Mental Hospital in Bracknell, we used to go out dancing, he was amazing, I absolutely loved him. We then lived together in Reading, I remember giving him the air fare so he could go home to Londonderry for Christmas, he never came back, I then moved to London. I came home from work one day switched on Top of the Pops and there was Jimmy (AKA Ruby) !! R.I.P x

When I was 14 in 1985 had a hell of a time finding this on cassette or LP even though it was a new release.
If I remember the tape had 6 songs and all were just as good as this particular song. I didn't know the meaning of some of the song themes (Living in the Background for example) as I do now; but could care less; it was fun music to listen to.
My new cassette was stolen the day I took it to school in my boombox. Bought a 2nd tape... stolen.
lol, made me remember how i had a hard time getting this song too. I was like listening to the radio listening for hours just to take a chance of listening to this song. then when i heard it play no matter where or what i was doing in the house i'd run to make sure i recorded it. i had to do it so many times until i got one that was decent to record from beginning to end.
Actually he never sang the songs himself. He was just a front man for the band, a dancer in fact. Google it... The producer of the band did all the lead vocals.
why do you mix someone's sexual status with his artistic music talent? Anyway, there are not that many straight guys who produced so popular and successful songs like this. Forgot to tell you, I am straight.
glaros0, why mix someone's sexual status with his artistic music talent? Very simple: because he wants us to. It's part of his image, and part of the act. If it weren't, he wouldn't play it up so heavily.
Me, I don't care. You, you're only upset because someone is being negative about it. If they'd been positive about his (apparent) sexual choices, you'd be fine with their making a big deal about it.
