Republicans should destroy any public health care because people need money to have one. No people is public so no one should pay for public. Washed down health care makes everybody pay. Health care shouldn't be washed down. People should be either rich enough to have it or poor enough not to have one and as free as you can be. Road, farm, school, energy, food, life, and death must be free, not subsidized, market driven. Free market is the referendum for 2010 election. People chose free market.

If your going to call somebody an idiot you should really make sure that you use the right words. I said care, not care. Also, the reason for having a public option is so that the insurance market will become more competitive, not less. More options usually means that you will get better results.

because it does not create competition as I said in my video. What it creates is a system in which one provider can always provide cheaper insurance than all of the others. AKA: a monopoly.

Who cares whether its a monopoly? In every developed country in the world health care is a monopoly. And these monopolies offer better health care at a cheaper rate than the American private system.

Conservatives have to stop being so ideology-driven. The fact is, a public option, and especially universal health-care, WILL PROVIDE CHEAPER, BETTER HEALTH CARE FOR AMERICANS.

Conservatives need to get their heads out of their asses and realize than realistic solutions should come before ideology.

you made an extreme error, although they offer cheaper health care, they do not offer better healthcare. I will use 5 year cancer survival rates as an example. the United states is consistently higher than all of these other "universal" countries. Alright, it's become obvious to me that you just got back from watching Saw 6 and are taking the plot line seriously. I agree with you, american healthcare has problems. And we can fix it by changing how american insurance works. But adding more government control won't fix the problem. Why don't you read the article on healthcare from the Atlantic September 2009 issue. Although I don't completely agree with the offered solution, it is close to what would work.

One thing about is ,if people feel absolutely dead set against the public"OPTION", they can opt out. Time has proven over and over again, that if a product is inferior, people will pay more for something better. I guarantee you that people who drink Silver Oak wines will not all of a sudden begin drinking Mad Dog 20/20 because some how they found it it is cheaper and will get you drunk.Let those who like their private insurance keep it, and let those who want a public option have it.
