  • Nice to see some yard action from Galesburg, Frank! Awesome job. Thirwell road has always been a great train watching site. Not sure what Mark519911 is talking about being "illegal", but the police sometimes visit you up there, and once they determine your ID and that you are a railfan, they pretty much leave you alone. My niece and a couple friends of mine work there in the yard. I also know a few of the hostlers in the pit area.

  • Beautiful quality video and excellent capture of the action!

  • BNSF has those engines in their yard so that means theyre useing them

  • HEY! BNSF Give Norfolk Southern back their engines! get your own!!!

  • funny thing is, this is illegal.

  • unit 1924 SF bb unit..says GN? on the overpaint...

  • i there a side walk here?

  • ICE at 1:23?

  • Have you ever when inside the yard?

  • is that bnsf engine in the opening scene have no bnsf shit on it?

  • @skinnyshit8888 Yes. It's an old Santa Fe loco, but BNSF was formed when Burlington Northern and Santa Fe combined...hence the name

    Burlington

    Northern

    Santa

    Fe

  • Great video! I cant wait to go to the BNSF Pasco, WA classification yard! 5*****

  • nothing like sitting by the yard all day watching the action..im so relaxed ata railyard

  • Great video 5*****

  • Nice video, Frank. Smart move by BNSF to give some locomotives reporting markings.

  • the santa fe was so quiet

  • Santa fe yeah baby!!!

  • Like The Opening Shot Of The BNSF Santa Fe GM SD39 And The Shots Of Galesburg BNSF Yard Was Nice To See This Time Of Year...Peace...

  • Great video! Your making me want to go see CN MacMillan Yard in Toronto, Ontario. I'd love to see all those engines parked there, and the yard switching. The one disadvantage is, it is nowhere near as colorful as BNSF Classification Yard.

  • r all of those engines stored and out of service (parked), or r they still in use?

  • they are getting serviced

  • that opening shot is awesome, so calm and...I dunno very filmic!

  • Man I do have to go on this bridge one day, once I get my license i'll have to plan a trip out there, maybe spring break

  • Its not that far of a drive...

  • Another awesome production, Frank. I really enjoy viewing your videos and invite you to check out mine some time. Thanks. ;-)
