Our house that we still owen in the 4th house down from you. white siding with black shutters. I think there is a tree on top of the roof and the fences re down from what I have heard. Can u film around there, including the house across from it? I saw what the forest looked like behind your house, which scares me, because I loved the woods, and I know that ours might look the same.
Hey Aburdette! We drove past the house today, there is a tree on the left-side roof. It sees to have damaged the roof, but not nearly as bad as some of the other houses. The gutters are slightly bent, but other than that, that seemed to be the only damage. My friends and I realized, based on the damage, that a smaller tornado swept through behind your house, perpendicular to the one that hit ours.
Please take more video. I lived in E'prise over 20+ yrs, but moved to TX a couple of years ago. My brother (dolemike77), sister (aburdette), & I all live in different states are trying to find out more info. My parents still own a house on your street. I can't believe that house next door is gone. The trees...before you couldn't see thru them since they were so thick. And now... My hearts and prayers go out to Enterprise. I have a lot of friends there and wish I could be there to comfort.

Thanks! We were able to get pics of the house. It looks fine except minor damages. We did lose a shed, though. It doesn't compare to the devistation of others. We have many friends there that their houses were destroyed. My heart goes out to the families that lost their lives and homes.

I live in Moscogee county Georgia, we just moved here and we have no TV, so we were taken by surprise when we got a warning. What happend to the neighbor who lived in that house??
Hi Takineko! I was actually at work on base at Ft. Rucker. My roommates, however, (who are in the Army with me) were at home when it hit. They definitely had some interesting stories to tell me when I got home!!! My neighbors survived- they hid in an inside bathroom. The guy escaped with a cut on his hand, and his wife had some bruised ribs, but they were OK--as well as the family dog!
Hi Daniel. I'm not on Rucker BLVD, but my neighborhood is between Rucker BLVD (which is what I use to get on base) and RTE 27. If you are familiar with the area, there is a YMCA right up the street from me. It's close to the intersection of 84 and 27. My neighborhood got hit pretty hard, but it was actually in-line with the high school. They had it much worse, I think.
I just wantto thank you guys for giving some video to the mayhem you all experienced down there. It has been a very traumatic and tragic day for you all down there , and I can only imagine how scary it must have been for you all. Hi Iprum. I'm sorry the video was poorly shot, badly narrated, and a bit short. My camera had very little memory left (much to my dismay). I do appreciate your concern, though. It's very comforting to know that there are people like you out there who are concerned for those affected by the severe weather. I wish I could shake your hand! Hi Daniel. I'm not on Rucker BLVD, but my neighborhood is between Rucker BLVD (which is what I use to get on base) and RTE 27.
