I don't like 3d on TV so far. To be successful, I think the 3d has to be on an EMAX screen to make you feel like you are in the movie. 3d on a TV, you still see the frame of the TV.
Nearly as soon as I look at anything that is in "3D" I start getting headaches and after a minute or so it feels like my brain is going to melt... so no I really don't like "3D".
I have a 50" 3D TV as swap for my broken 50'' it's cool when you high & relaxed if not it's taxing on your eyes. VIZIO has the Best 3D TV's out that use the same Tech as the Movie Theaters so no active shitter glasses and crystal clear non flickering images
my stepdad owns a 3D tv and he is about the only kind of person who would buy one in the first place: Rich and doesnt know anything about technology. Needless to say he doesnt even use it :P

A friend of mine's got a 3D tv. I played a couple of times on it (only shooters though, like Crysis 2). It makes the gaming harder, because it actually adds an extra dimension to the game and your eyes need to adapt to the depth. It can make single player games more fun, because stuff explodes in your face and you see bullets fly by and stuff like that, but it is not advised for when playing multiplayer online. It makes it harder to see enemies.

Dead Island could have been something awesome, like a serious themed zombie RPG in the style of Fallout 3. Unfortunatly the original trailer for the game is nothing like the game at all, it's just gonna be L4D with some RPG elements thrown in trying to throw in some awful humour where you play as an NFL player and a rapstar? Fuck Dead Island, the people who made the trailer are awesome, but I think the game itself will suck.

If I got a 3DTV...that would be what I'd get.

3D is not worthwhile and bad for your eyes, it plays a trick on your eyes for you to see things in 3D, basically the same as a magic eye puzzle which is why you feel like your eyes are going crossed when watching 3D

The 3D feature is absolutely a gimmick, but the companies are all putting the best technology into the 3DTVs so they can charge more, while putting the older tech in the non-3D TVs so they can put a bargain price on it. Compare the two in a store sometime and you'll notice the 3DTV looks better (and has a much higher price.)

You can't have a game that's all cutscenes and crappy gameplay but you can't just drop someone into a world and say invest 30 to 40 hours in this. so idk it's all the player

Compare the two in a store sometime and you'll notice the 3DTV looks better (and has a much higher price.)

No, 3D TV is just stupid, first of, you can only watch something in 3D if it's ment to be, so no programs, and only a few movies, with in them only have like maybe 3-4 scenes in them, and playing in 3D is just even a more stupid idea -.-

That's what you do, and it's about the most honest bit of gaming info I get throughout the day. @bloooby your english is pretty good single player game needs mechanics over storyline imo but you really need a lot of both to be successful. You can't have a game that's all cutscenes and crappy gameplay but you can't just drop someone into a world and say invest 30 to 40 hours in this. so idk it's all the player
