It's strange, and quite amazing how if you just listen to the low notes of the melody, you just hear it as a seperate:

Though sometimes you hear them as one melody and you don't notice it that much. I'm not sure if that's a good explanation.....

@Pennhill007 midi is becoming a dead technology. invest in usb or firewire controllers. it's the future. this one i'm using can run on both and it was quite inexpensive. prolly way cheaper now...

@TheKingORock not to mention, the entire control of the keystation is done by ultra low bit MIDI, not firewire, usb or any other nonsense. The only other protocol that is used in audio is ethernet (which gives 1024 values instead of 128), which no synths at all use, and MIDI will continue to be supported for years.

It might have a USB cable, but it's sending MIDI information!

yes. kentucky is right... i uploaded the songs from Daft Punk into garage band and pretty much just "cut" out the voice parts and arranged them into the song where they fit. that's why they show up in orange on the screen.

Only I know how to play it, no one else on Youtube has shown how to play it correctly. you probably noticed some of the notes are off in the synth cover.
