An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
This is so sad, to hear that your partner has died and that neither parents wanted to notify him angers me, sad thy it had to be a cousin. :( sad but oh what a GREAT actor Colin is
As sad as this scene is, I couldn't help but smile at the way George answers the phone. "Yes sir, you have indeed called the correct number. How may I help you...Oh, of course. Good evening, Mr. Ackerley." He's so refined!
@sandragojani Oh my gosh, it does sound like Don Draper doesn't it? I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it...now this scene is all the more better. Merci beaucoup!
not to tear away from the haunting heartbreak...but can we just acknowledge that Jon Hamm's voice is amazing here? he's in full Don Draper mode, and it's no secret Tom Ford LOVES Mad Men...the production designers from Mad Men did this movie too :)
Everything about this movie seems so heartbreaking and beautiful that I'm terrified to watch it, despite having bought the DVD a few months ago, and is now still cowardly stealing glimpses of the movie on YouTube...
Just for that scene Colin deserved the Oscar! (what goes after this is just... AMAZING!) bravo bravissimo Colin for your fantastic acting in this film
Most people always looking for those performances that truly define an actor, where we can sit back and simply watch the talent soar. For Colin Firth, "A Single Man" is that film.
If you wanna watch "A SINGLE MAN" in full lenght, great quality and for FREE go to this site:
I want to cry just watching this. This scene is probably the most heartbreaking in the entire film. Unfortunately, this video ends before the really great acting begins. Colin Firth definitely deserves the Academy Award for this role. I love this film. It is my favorite film ever.
It takes a lot to get me to go out and see a movie. I usually wait to rent them. But I knew that this flim would be genius, and I wasn't disappointed. Heck, I even roughed it and went to a small indie theater with terrible seats, and the trip was well worth the hassle. I can't figure why this film wasn't wide released in Ottawa. It was definitely one of the best films I have seen in years. Plus you get to see Nicholas Hoult. What more could you want?
This film is fantastic - one of the best I have seen in years - and that voice on the other end of the phone? My personal hero Jon Hamm (Don Draper in the TV show MAD MEN) - great, just great. And love Colin Firth, Oscar worthy for sure.
It's a shame they cut the rest of this flashback scene on the YouTube clip; standing back and watching George's reaction to the news is just stunning and heartbreaking. Colin Firth played this role pitch-perfectly, and then some. Genius!
I saw this superb movie last week and colin Firth delivers the BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR. This short clip, shows how wonderful this actor is. The Music was also incredible and and I can't get it out of my head. I hope he wins all the awards that he has been nomintated for.
was that jon hamm on the phone?

Just one of the best portrayals of grief in a film... Just, perfect. You can imagine the theater audience becoming totally silent for it.

@oemphaloempha Agreed. Those next few seconds after this call are so raw and honest, and, IMO, the best acting Firth has ever accomplished on film.

Unconsciously I shed tears when I saw this scene. . .
It made me identify completely with George's shock upon
receipt of the news of Jim's death came as a bolt from the blue.
Love this movie.
