He's not allergic. He has Gilbert's Syndrome, basically, which is when the liver is missing a chemical that breaks down certain compounds, like alcohol, chocolate and saturated fat. I sometimes causes jaundice. I expect he woke up the next morning looking like a smoked haddock. Poor thing :(.
