if your not already insane at street fighter ( i literally mean insane) then dont even think about playing online, youll get your ass handed to you over and over by guys who merely bought the ps3 in the hope that this game was coming out, and trained their asses off day after day to master their skills as ken and guile in past games, then mutilate any unsuspecting casual gamers

I'm a Chun-Li/Bison/Ken user. Chun-Li is my fave. I will beat an average Ken/Ryu player, so watch out when I get this game. Ken is better than Ryu. With Ken/Guile, it's fast blocking and quick counters. Chun-Ll is fast. That's why she's useful for counters.

I like Ken better than Ryu. Everyone knows about Sagat and Ryu. People that play with top characters are dull. After a while, those players get predictable. My favorite character Chun-li, provides a challenge and adds more fun. So a true streetfighter gamer plays well with all characters.

How can you not know the names of all the characters after 4 installments of the game? That just means you haven't been paying attention. Mitsurugi has been around since Soul Blade. So has Siegfried, Taki, Seung Mina, Rock, Sophitia, Voldo, Cervantes and Yun Seung. Then you have people like Talim, Xianghua, Ivy, Nightmare, Astaroth, Raphael, Zasalamel, Kilik and Cassandra. Man, i could go on all day. I love Soul Calibur.

My advice for you (as well as any fighting game fan) is to learn to adjust the controller settings. Especially the L and R shoulder buttons.

Not only are the L and R button's easier to handle but you can press them much quicker too!

For example: My R1 button is tabbed to B+G (which is a throw in Soul Calibur)

so instead of holding two buttons to throw, all you need to do is press one button.

Configuring makes playing fighting games easier with a normal controller.

Street Fighter is more about inputting complex button combinations quickly. Now the Bloody Roar and DBZ games are pure botton mashers.

What I like about Tekken and Soul calibir . is the fact that anyone can pick them up easily, but also...it takes months to master them as well with the hundreds of moves and combos.

Well if the 3D fighting fighting ground like in EX did well, which they didn't, then maybe they would have kept it that way. I find the 2D fighting ground to be better suited for SF, the same as for Tekken always staying within a 3D fighting ground.
