I have a Sharp X68000 XVI Compact, mines has a 3.5" Floppy. I installed 6MB RAM, and MC68881 co-processor, and YES, the best 16 bit Personal Workstation at that time. Eventhough it had 16MHz MC68000 CPU, but it has graphic accelerator, similar to the modern GPU these days. Got mines for free, someone just throw this out!! Replaced the capacitors. Used it to play arcade titles, also has a sega/atari joystick port
good work i see that u did a pretty good job on putting all the stuff in this case
but i dont get the point u could have gotten a case for 50 bucks 100 times better looking bigger then this one and u wouldn't have to buy low profile or slim stuff for that case either so the point is that this was a wate of time for u and if i must say u could have saved time and money and would have got better performance if u bought a regular case
@13illzz he could of gotten a beter case that everyone has, but who else has a watercooled gaming computer in a case that is allmost 30 years old? noone, its not about performance, this guy likes building modded computers like this, not buying all stock parts and putting them together.
It´s very awesome. I like the very crammed and small design. But yeah, you need to make a plexiglass plate for the back of the motherboard. So awesome! 5 stars and subscribed.
hey great job man! im not a fan of the case (which dont matter) but i am a fan of your Miguiver skillz. lol A+. check out my system, " My dream the Ultimate Raven"
When I first saw this, I thought you butchered a working X68k to make this and I was going to flame you, but now that I saw that you bought just the case, nice job. I don't think I will be doing this to my X68000 XVI, but still it looks nice.
Nice job on the system there, earlier on in the video you were saying MOFSETS, I think you mean MOSFETS. How fast is the CPU and how much memory are you using in the system? Who are those optical drives made by? How much noise does the refridgerated cooling system make when it's up and running?
OMG you cut a hole in the side of an X68k?!
