  • OH GREAT!

this video is slow enough and precise enough on the hearts for me to accurately jot down a bassline

i hope you don't mind HCBailly

    it must be done though!

i can't find tabs or sheet music for this theme anywhere

  • Damnit..... Gizmaluke was the hardest boss in the game for me.... fucking freya kept dieing and she was the powerhouse of the party :l

  • ahhhh i don't care about the blackberry is just want to watch the video!!!!!!

Thumbs up if you hate ads

  • 8 people couldn't beat Gizamaluke xD

  • @megasean3000 Now that u say it For some reason when i hear that song the first thing that come to my mind its Gizamaluke .. Maybe that guy me tiene traumatizado porque nunca le pude ganar xD

  • Is not just a bit to high?

  • The music hiccups and studders in some places but I still love it. haha. good job dude.

  • Why did I find the part with the ducks funny? -_-

  • mario paint?? LOL

  • I can not belive how this is well done.Sounds almost like from the game itself(just in MIDI style).

  • Ah childhood...

    *smokes pipe*

  • Lmfao wow. I am speechless. o_O

  • awesome

  • damn nice

  • AWESOME

  • how do you get it to 1020

cos myn only goes up to 500

  • its sorta hard to explain but ill try my best

when you click on it on the pc(has to be pc) you go into the prefs file and choose the song you want to change the tempo of like

(song name here)mariopaint and double click it

then go to the bottom of the huge file and the number at the end is your tempo. just delete the number part and replace it with your wanted tempo and voila! youve fot a tempo over 500! your welcome. no problem.

  • It's so quick lol...

  • What if they make new mario paint on the wii and sounds are just revamped... would u still make music???

  • that is AWESOME

  • 0.0

  • That's life...and apparently the evolution of gaming, while not giving out copies of the FF series on the PS1 when they are still famous...Pure irony...

  • Check that, it's also ILLEGAL if you don't own the game.

  • its good the game and the music.only one thing.....HOW DO YOU MAKE THAT

  • It's a program for your computer that allows you to play console games on it.

  • It can...But I dont have one lol

  • Play it on an emulator instead.

  • DAMN YOU BROKEN PS1 >:(

  • great stuff!

  • You should hear Version 2. It's godly.

  • Ozma was easy with this party :)

    Zidane, Amarant, Quina, Freya.

And they are always my favorites :)

  • Ozma ill defeat you! lol

  • Vivi, Amarant! Return doomsday! Zidane Theievery NOW! Garnet don't chuck that dark matter until I tell you too! We should beat him within about an hour and a half worth of resets.

....dang... You know you've lost your mind if you can explain how to beat the most messed up final fantasy boss of all time within 30 seconds. rofllmao.

  • yeah O_O

    xD

  • only the beginning?

  • i love this song...though it just gets me more pissed that it along with my FF7 and 8 got stolen

  • Awesome!

I want to re-play IX now

  • Incredible...

  • lol yeah now i wanna go play it xD

  • this one is awesome ass well =P

  • It sorta has a jazz feeling to it...with a little playful feeling to it.

  • where did u get mario paint!?

  • It's Mario Paint Composer. You can find it easily on Google.

  • @1994jadie you can get a snes emulator

  • this song is great evrytime i would go into a boss battle this song would get all nervous and stuff

  • Excellent rendition of this score. Whenever I hear this, it always brings back the memory of my epic last stand against Ark.

  • Awesome!

  • that was wicked! all I can think of is that plant fucker that traps your characters inside him towards the begining of the game (after your ship crashes)

  • no offense but did you go a little crazy with the tempo, or is that the way its suppose to go? i dont have FFIX, but i do have FFVII and FFVIII

  • The tempo is the same as the OST. I'll probably want to redo it eventually for other reasons though.

  • @HCBailly Does this come with it's own means of recording, or did you use whatever it is you use to record games?

  • @sasuke1367891 actually, this is pretty good. FFIX is my favorite, and sound almost the exact same lol except for the little stoping moments..

  • whoa is amazing

  • THIS IS AMAZING! wow, I really liked it. LOL. I am such a nerd, I am like so amazed anyone could do a song from a video game so well.

  • LOL

    we all are

  • How did you go above 500 BPM?

And yeah, that was awesomely accurate. The only thing about it is at the part near the end, at 1:38, you should've made the GameBoy sound the Star sound. That way it would've sounded more like the high-pitched flute in the actual song. But that's just my opinion about the sound...

  • You have to go into the "Mario Paint Composer\Prefs" folder and find the source file. The numbers at the end are the tempo, so just modify it to whatever you want.

I should probably use the star more often. Usually, I think it leaves too much of a ringing sound for my taste.

  • Nice.....very nice. You are really fast at making these. Actually, it seems as though you make them faster than my computer can load them. *sigh* Oh well, that just leaves more good music for later!

  • Thanks a lot.

This one was pretty easy to compose, so I was able to compose it quickly. Suprisingly, it's not how complex or fast the music is that makes it take longer. Triplets really make it more challenging, because it throws off how many measure I can fit into a single file. Being strongly motivated helps too, as I was at the time I composed this.
