all these people here complaining and acting like they are "above" are the most pathetic people ever. you act like "oh they are having fun for no apparent reason" and "oh the 80s must have sucked"
yeah guess what the 80s is called the "fun decade" for a good reason.
its so easy to "see" the magic , and you even cant do THAT, youre anti-fun , youre anti 80s = you suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the weird looking alien kept me first from watching this- but after i tried - i really was surprised that it was one of the rare cases i really liked a movie (in more recent times)
This film was awesome. You guys who are complaining are retarted and have the shittiest sense of humor! Yes we americans atleast have something called humor!
This is the WEIRDEST mcdonalds commercial ever!!! Oh, wait, it's a movie scene. *ahem* This is one of the most BLATANT product placement scenes in a film, ever!!!
If McDonald's made it mandatory for people to dance like this while eating at their restaurant, the obesity epidemic would hit a sharp decline. Because fat asses would either decide to stop going there and thus stop eating the shit food, or they'd be burning the fat off as they do Ballottés and mcHammer dances while scarfing a McGriddle. If they don't burn the fat off, they'll barf afterwards, which will be even more effective at reducing their weight.
how many mac and me was release?! only one or many more cuz i want buy them all cuz if there's one ill have to buy just one but if theres many like i said ill buy all in same time ;) thx for all
An Alien child in a teddy bear costume dancing on the counter of a McDonalds restaurant whilst Ronald looks on.....................................only Americans could make this film.
The existence of this POS film is proof positive that McDonald's, Coca-Cola Co. and whoever in the hell makes Skittles are trying to destroy your mind, along with your body.
I'd like to kick that little alien right in his sesame seed buns.
LOl...gotta love the scene. Guys, do you remember wearing the oversized shirts and tying your shoe strings behind your hi-tops? I liked the fact that those guys were just randomly locking outside the Mcdonalds to!
A young ten-year-old Nikki Cox can be seen as one of the dancers wearing a yellow shirt at 1:58. Cox starred in the "Badder" segment of Michael Jackson's "Moonwalker" and played Ryan White's sister, Andrea, in "The Ryan White Story" (1988).
lol this movie is hilarious - for all the wrong reasons. Its so bad that the person who grenlighted it must have been the owner of mcdonalds. i also think its ironic that they have a huge dance number when the main character is disabled.
i fucking hate this motherfucking piece of shit movie. its a fucking disgrace to the film industry. i want everyone single dickless motherfucker involved in the production of this movie to rot in the darkest, hottest depths of hell. im gonna go to best buy this weekend, buy this fucking piece of shit on dvd, take it home, burn it,and then piss on the motherfucking ashes. - fresh prince is the shit, respect to carlton p. banks nigga...
This is one of the greatest 80's stereotypes I've ever witnessed, white people congregating at a mcdonald's AND dancing montage style. THAT just doesn't happen anymore.
ET was original, but this is just a ripoff. i think that they decided that if they got a handicap kid instead of elliot that it would seem more heart warming or something, but it just seems like pure plagirism
I agree with you. This is one of the worst movies ever. I wanted to slit my rists when I first saw this. Instead I went to eat some food at Macdonalds. Pure propaganda on their part and they succeeded.
I can't believe I actually paid money to see this in the theater KNOWING full well how bad it was going to be. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. This is probably the most retarded scene of any movie ever committed to a piece of celluloid.
I would gladly pay money to see a group like Improv Everywhere go into a McDonald's with the song from the clip and actually do the whole choreographed dance scene.
Okay, so where did the ballerinas and the football players come from...and then there's Ronald...and the choreography is all...man, I have a headache.
I think i got my parents to rent this for me several times when I was a kid, but I really do not remember this part of the movie. I remember something about them driving in to the desert surrounded by wind turbines or was it solar panels. Anyway, what a god awful stupid movie.
This is the scene that the makers of the movie "Xanadu" watch to help themselves feel better about making such a shitty movie musical til this very day.
The most hilarious part to me is the bit where the dancers get out of the way of the car and then resume dancing, while approaching the bad guys. They're going to drive them back with the raw unbridled enthusiasm of their fresh youthful dance moves! Is this the very first attempt at "You got Served"? If only they'd let that shot run just a little longer....
Stupid song. Stupid movie and LMAO to the football players dancing ( so gay ). And oh yeah, stupid FBI can't even catch the boy in the wheelchair with Mac lol
I've seen this movie only once, and thankfully it was long after 1988. And this scene confused the hell out of me. Was that the choreographer yelling commands off-camera?
"Okay, pick up the pace!" Oh man... I wish I could find a local McDonald's like that. That teddy-dressed Mac grew several inches on that counter and even the football players instantly learned how to dance. I wonder about those hamburgers' ingredients...
To MysteriousAlien what about adding the Great Chase scene that takes place after this where Mitford, Wickett and the other goverment agents chase Eric and Mac through the streets and SEARS where Janet (Eric's mother) joins the chase and then Eric and Mac are saved by Debbie, Michael, and Courtney in the van?

the best things about this scene i didn't didnt take notice of at first:
- 1:00 - 1:10, the most effort anyone put any effort into for this WHOLE film. tight choreography..?
- conversely, the hilariously shitty "dancing" by the person in the teddy costume.
- THE DANCERS PERFORMING RIDICULOUS FLIPS IN THE BACKROUND. look out the windows, and at random spots you'll see some people performing acrobatics.
