to do it on ps3 you drop your board jump and grab your board in midair and press triangle straight after and you will do the glitch but it takes a lot of tries

throw your board

press square L2 triangle R2 and when you get to the R2 make sure you hold it down. That is as good as I can describe it because I dont have a ps3.
