this is easy i have it done my self all you have to do is open the controller and there will be two points on the bottem left and right sodder the positive and segitive and each of them if you want two coller leds use both of the sides will different color leds

he probly just attached the red led to the rumble so every time the rumble was activated it would turn red then attached a green led to the triggers so that when he pressed the trigger it turned green

dude at first i thought hat this was lame but then i saw the whole light thing. how did you get it to know when you were firing and when you were hit because the only thing i can think of is connecting the LEDs to the rumble, but that wont differ the actions though.

Getting hit is a lighter rumble so it uses the smaller rumbler.

Just connect red to the smaller one and green to the bigger one.

Usually the smaller rumble is for when you're shooting, the bigger rumble is for when you're hit so it makes sense for the red to be hooked up to the large rumbler.
