This beautiful Chinese New Year's song was composed by my uncle H.S. Li back in 1946 in Shanghai. As people then were eagered to embrace the CNY to forget the unpleasantness of the past: hunger, unrest, civil wars...etc. Teresa Teng was one of his favourite singers from Taiwan.

Around Chinese New Year time, Life Records sometimes re-release the CDs. Teresa only had 4 CNY songs with Life Records so these would be compilations with other singers from the company. Welcome!
