@ford350ist yea cost me 120 to 150 and really easy to put in once you have the centre gear box case out it only takes about 15 to 20 minute

mine jams in 1st gear after setting for about 6 sec and 1&2 are tight please help out

@rcguy4373 got a savage .21 put a 4.6 eng in it took the 2 speed tranny out of it put the 3 speed metal gear tranny in it.i have a realy load exhaust it seems like it only shifts once.can u tell where to put set screws at? my savage 25 smokes this truck.let me know if u can help me thanks

@91173daddy try a 20 bell gear. if you change the 2'nd gear adjustment. you got to pull the three speed out' pull the clip off ' pull it apart to get to the 2' nd gear shift point pin. and turn it one turn. if your trucks pulling good which it should be than put a 20 bell gear. im running a 23.just watch your temp. not over 300 250 - 275 is good but if it is running good than let it run.

just got one of those myself!, just a little confused on how to tune 1st and 2nd....then 3rd. im not sure if its 3rd or not but i know the one of these adjustments can be done from the outside of the truck. and then you have to take the gears out for ???? Im guessing the 2nd gear cause its always in 1st???? im confused! Please Help!

you should be able to adjust both gears with out pulling it apart you use a alan key just in between the gear cog there is a small sot of nut if you tighten it it will take longer for the gear to change losen mean quicker change better off adjusting one at a time hope this is what you where trying to find out.

since ive had the three speed tranny ive been stripping spur gears. have you had any problems?

no mate haven't had any problems cos i upgraded the spur gear to the steel gear, if you install the steel gear you have to get a heavy duty clutch bell or you will just keep stripping the bell all the time

when you said that you have been striping the spur gear have you changed the clutch bell at all

yea going pretty good i got mine as a kit and no haven't had any problems it been great, you get get some insane speed out of it
