Part 2

This is my take on it.

With multiple teams playing at the same time you keep the action and you keep the interest of the weaker players. Why? Even consistent defeats will be hard fought. I suggest 3-5 teams per map. This lowers the entry level, levels the field, and keeps greater balance. It also adds problem solving without over complicating the gameplay. My third issue is there doesn't seem to be a safety zone for either team

This is my take on it.

The feel is right, but you need rock music .. preferably "heavy metal" The movie styled, this will work for this game wonderfully as it looks like a cut from that mold.

PVP relay races and other various capture the flag games are fairly intellectually dull, and very easy to get bored with once you have learned the maps, and there is always someone or some team that can out multi task you.

The developers are slow and greedy. Look at Tribes Ascend, its easy to get a BETA Key. Why does Firefall need time? Waited for like 3 years already. I aint gonna wait, take all my money from the price of Mass Effect 3 to Starcraft 2. Is this a family-only game? Or should I say only less than 3000 people can play? Is this just a experiment-game to test of they can create the next Borderlands 2? Why does it have to take so long?

What I would love to see is that they keep the difficulty high (decrease the area of aoe weapons, make characters durable so that it would eliminate camping or exploit high damage weapons in any way). Keep the game competitive but not one sided. I would love to beta test (been waiting 3 months for a key now) but I guess I have to wait hehe :p

What I can tell by watching this vid it kinda gives me an unreal tournament feeling (without the airtime that is), I would like to play this game core and pump some money in it. My biggest fear of free games is even though you have a counter program against cheating and you'll ban the player, they can just create another account and try to improve their cheating program.

I haven't been keeping up with Firefall TOO much but wouldn't it be great if they were to release on Steam? A lot of mmo's are getting more and more players once they are released on Steam. This game and Steam seem like a match made in heaven.

@askherserenity Steam is ok, but the problem comes with people at college. Many colleges have the reliable hardwired connections firewalled and have every port closed that is not essential to keep open. I can not log onto steam at CSU Fullerton for instance.

@askherserenity If they go through steam, they'll have to give steam a percentage of the sales made through the online store. Meaning that they'll either have to sell the game, charge monthly or hike up the prices just to stay afloat.

to answer your question: they havent set a launchdate or anything, they want to open up the beta further and further, while releasing more content.

when he queued for the battle after some time he entered it instantly what i didn't like is why there is not a bar come out and in it (accept to enter the battle & decline) it would be better that player can chose if he want to enter the battle or not because who knows if this player changed his mind

@juggernaut23236 RSFG is what I use. It opens up your hand instead of scrunching up your fingers, plus your pinky rests on a crouch key, A. Helps to rotate your keyboard clockwise a little. People says it's weird, but they end up gibbed, fragged and faded. try it!
