Like your skills how long did it take to get that good? I kinda want to start tricking too... I really like the saber tricking combo and think its just a pretty awesome combination

@EbayEuron Honestly... and I am not being "down" on myself all that much... ... I suck. :) My tricks are all pretty rudimentary, and I can't exactly combo with any sort of style, lol... but that is ok, I didn't devote my life to it or anything, and started when I was pretty damn OLD for what this requires...

Glad you like it though; I'd just say start learning good solid foundations like basic kicks, move on to jump kicks, then spin kicks and go from there...

No joke--I'm FAR from anything of any import when it comes to tricking. :) It's not a "dig" on myself, it's just the truth. Not that it stops me, nor should it stop anyone else... it's INSPIRING to see greatness of folks like Anis, Jeremy, Sessh, Chris D., Chris Balualua, Vellu, and countless others. :)

@SmArOv What I am doing in this video is a somewhat "low-level" version of what is called Tricking.

Tricking is combination of martial arts, acrobatics, and even certain breakdancing and capoeira actions. Look it up on wikipedia for more info, or just watch tricking videos online... :)

@Keisuke42 Take your time, take your time, take your time. And if you wish to do it... just train for it. All goals are accomplished with initial steps, period.

You have to understand--that was the point of my video anyhow... in 2005... I knew absolutely *ZERO* tricks, period (for the mostpart).

But you have to take some action, train... and be willing to take the hits, a few painful falls at times... and end up with some sore muscles. But I say... it's all worth it! :)

@greytale Hey! Thanks for the feedback! Didn't expect it. =P I have a decent foundation for martial arts. Did alot of training as a teenager, and I can do some of the kicks featured in this video. This gives me some inspiration to workout, lose weight, and practice again. And I bet alot of landing stretched out certain areas of your unmentionables. LOL

You know... you reminded me... oh crap, I completely forgot to add in clips from a major session I did! OOPS!!! :( There were lots of "floaty" b-kicks and some other fun stuff in there, like feilong attempts, and even early b-twist s/t attempts (failed, hahahah)... :)

Oh well... who knows, maybe I'll re-do this vid, or... just see how tricks go for remainder of 2011 and forward... :D
