I believe Neil belongs in the R & R hall of fame - BUT I think the guy is in a class all by himself - listen to this piece, then listen to Shilo, or Caroline, then to Brother Love... A CLASS by himself. I played & sang his songs for years 6 nights a week in So.CAL during the 60's & early 70's and fans ALWAYS loved them - BUT many times (like this song) I dared not attempt with only a quartet - not to mention my voice & emotions just couldn't reach the same heights...Thanks for posting this

I was 10 years old. I remember my dad, Dr. Tom Mincer riding in his Porsche. A man who led the propulsion for the Apollo and put men on the moon. Yes, he was my father and yet that my dad passed away last year from cancer and chemo at 66 on Easter Morning, I think of my Heavenly Father. This song moves me. It moves me to reflect on my perfect Heavenly Father. This songs gives me the emotion to dream of a perfect world with a perfect Heavenly Father cares for a lost son. I am thankful!

Hi, i also read this book when i was young, and it had a profound effect on me, .. and the music is so beautiful is sends shivers down my spine. I felt a kinship with nature. Although i felt no connection with Jesus or the christian God, and never had. But , i accept, i can see why it made you feel that way.
