Fantastic! The mix of stop-motion and the backgrounds is really good. The music, narration and sound FX really work together. Great special FX aswell, like the smoke from the dragon. Terrific work!

I must confess to feelings of aprehension when King Bernie of the high peaks invited me to see his latest offering-had he discovered the long held secret of the fire breathing mother in law who resides(caged)in deepest Essex?

She who burnt my toast to a frazzle and refused to wear the guy outfit I had specially made for her on firework night AND would not sit atop the bonfire!!

Another great effort from Bernie Inc-the stop motion photography must have taken hours, but the result is well worth it

Thankyou my friend glad you enjoyed this one. I have forgotton how many hours spent on it. Painting background and sets ,animating then the chroma key work, special effects editing ,sound effects and narration all told it's proberbly about 100 hours.

But worth it, please pass it on to your friends for them to enjoy

Hi Frances yes they are my own drawings and paintings. Some of the dragon toys are greenscreen work,but some are filmed in the sets. The other effects like fire, smoke,special effects,sound and voice over added later.

Very entertaining! A beautiful little story, very well put together!! I think this is one of your more ambitious films yet. It must've taken quite a while to put together. Like other stuff you've made, this one reminds me of the children's TV shows I used to enjoy as a kid.

Hi blueworm lovely to hear from you. Really glad you enjoyed this little story that I came up with a while a go.

Yes it took a fare bit of time painting the sets and get my head round some of the special effects work and stop motion stuff,but I think it has paid off.Like you I have been influenced by childhood memories of TV and film that have a special place in my heart. It was good to use my love of storytelling on this one.
