Mine is really starting to piss me off. I cannot get mine to show up on my iPhone to save my life. I have the firmware on it. It beeps 3 times when I press and hold the hidden button when I release it. Why will it not show up on my phone?!?!?!?!

@Newman13F Make sure to allow a new bluetooth device on your phone.. also do you have the latest firmware? If not update the camera, might just need a firmware upgrade.

Can the blutooth function be used to review your video? Its so crap not being able to see what you just shot till you get home! Also, I would like the cam to come with a seperate charger. Only being able to charge it with a laptop is just stupid! When I go away for a 2 or 3 day trailride, I dont cart my laptop with me, so cant charge the cam and cant review what I have shot at the end of the day! Fix those issues for me and I will be a 100percent happy customer :)

my contour gps isn't connecting with my iPod 4g, I've pressed the button and everything but no blue light appears and i can't track it on the iPod. is there something I'm missing?

quesstion. I have the iPhone 4 and the contour GPS. But when i turn my iPhone's bluetooth it finds the contour but then right as it connects, it disconnects and then the contour beeps 3 times. what does this mean? Does it mean i need a connect view card cause all i have right now is this plastic thing in there that looks like what you have in the video but no gold squares.

What Should I Get Contour GPS Or The Go Pro Hero 2 I am looking for good quality in night time and I don't want it pixelated but the big thing for me with the Go Pro is the 120 FPS SloMo

@Otowngman1 dont forget the 120 slow mo is standard def. Good quality in night time? No POV camera has good quality at night, yet. Just some are a little worse then others. I think the GoPro would be up your alley, the night footage is decent and it does have the 120 fps:) THe contour can be adjusted with your phone, would give you more control for night shots.. Up to you, weigh it out!

@ajt2014 Yes they have a firmware update that has made connecting much more reliable. Thats about it for recent upgrades.

Heres what I would like to see added to the Contour GPS.

1. allow the firmware to allow the camera to be charging by USB and still able to record while connected to USB ...

2. To have an upgrade door / cover that we can purchase to allow plugging in USB while door is closed

I wired up a simple DIY motorcycle USB charger fused and that would be perfect since the battery is only good for 2 hours. I want to use this for an all day motorcycle run....

Hey ive read some of the comments here, my Mac picks up the bluetooth from the contour (GPS :)) but my iPhone 3GS doesnt want to find it? it just doesn't pick it up.

I've upgraded the fireware 2 mins ago and still doesnt work.

Is it a problem with my phone?

(before I bought it the guy showed it connected to his iPhone4.

What would be the range possible between both the contour and iphone before you wouldnt be able to view and it would cut out

E.G. if i was on my motorcycle and my friend had my phone, could he view it still and what would be the max distance between the two divices??? Please reply. thanks

The HD has no bluetooth capabilities. Just the GPS and the Contour +.

Is that connect view card a replacement for your memory card? If this is the case I cant understand why they would complicate these things. How does this work then? Do you have to remove this connect view card before you can set off and record things? Is that connect view card enabling the blutooth to work?

@simon44 no the connect card goes in a diffrent slot, its blanked off to begin with, the memory card is tottally diffrent you can use both at the same time, it would be pointless otherwise you wouldnt be able to record anything

The App is only for live preview and camera configuration. It doesn't act as a remote so you'll still need to use the record switch to start and stop recording.
