My point with all of that stuff about the pencils is really that with drawing and painting- it has nothing to do with the tools. It doesn't matter what brand of paint, size of brush, or weight of pencil lead.

A good artist learns to "see what they are doing so that they can create wonderful images, regardless of what they're holding in their hands.

I hope you're getting some insightful tips. I (obviously) have a lot of fun making these. :)
