  • sucks to watch this on my day off

  • sucks to watch this on my day off

  • beat his ass in the bathroom when nobody is around.

  • Remember, you have the legitimate right NOT to obey a bully at work !!!

  • I will probably just put a hex on every bully at work who dares to do this.

  • I called a bully a bully and banged her buns at a company picnic....and she was eventually fired due to bad behavior....

  • One more thing. I have anxiety disorders (EEOC recognized disability) against which bullying has a discriminatory effect. Yet this is universally rejected by the EEOC and employers know this. They know they can get away with disability based bullying to their hearts content because the EEOC and courts have been so bad.

Good video -- you're saying the right things and things are moving in the right direction.

  • @StopWorkplaceBullies thats not true. i told my boss i had a disability before i started working there. my boss was bullying me at work for 8 months and the big boss. my boss would yell at me, push me, and grab me and mock me of my disability. yes, i do have witnesses. so i started to take notes, date, time. i was forced to quit my job. so i turned tem into the eeoc. the eeoc went after them.

  • @925jdb I'm glad the EEOC went after your bully, however you'll note that it was for overt disability based harassment and not disparate impact or discriminatory effect. To my knowledge, the EEOC won't go after bullies SOLELY due to the disparate impact or discriminatory effect bullying has against anxiety disorders.

  • I agree with the video, however it's important to identify specific bullying behaviors. So often we have a bad feeling in the pit of our stomachs, but can't put our finger on it. When we can figure out the specifics then we are able to mount an effective, reasoned, rational, evidence-based defense. For example, reports of poor performance were recently falsely alleged against me. I replied to my bully producing the evidence that the allegations were false. The bully went silent.

  • I have been a victim of bullying most my life. I left countless job because of it, there was no support. Management seem to accept it as it was a way to get what was politically in their best interest and fear was a strong mechanism of controlling the workforce so instilling a accepted culture that seemed spread like a cancer. When a manager was exposed they would team up and bully witness would not be forth coming. I made a serious career change so I could be in control of whom I worked with.

  • That jerk-off boss reminds me of a boss I had, who was only 25 and prematurely bald. He was so ugly, like a deformed Kojak. He screamed and yelled at me and I told him off. I refuse to put up with anyone's bullshit, especially from an ugly bald fuck!

  • Some of the worst bullies ARE members of protected classes because if they are confronted with it, they can always threaten to play the discrimination card.

  • Guy with the glasses has slowest reflexes ever

  • I love her! She is dead on. Employers view bullying through the eyes of the law: if you're not being bullied because you're a minority- they don't see it as a problem. And what she said about HR: they are not a helpful first stop to deal with bullying, they aren't on the victim's side. Time away is a good first option because by then you're stressed and unwell. I would like to see the statistics on how many victims are fired for standing up for themselves though. Best thing is to find a way out.

  • thanks for your help .how to deal with bullying .from sarah in london

  • If I was there I am not serving anyone before I get fired I going to turn the place into a war zone destroy what ever is worth money and hurt many of them as possible and basically destroy as much as I can

  • Bullies in the workplace, complained harshly like saying "If anyone doesn't take care of their own responsibilities, He or She will beat someone up", its an ugly social behavior not for anyone to get insulted by this villain or villainess saying something nasty

  • Bullies in the workplace, complained harshly like saying "If anyone doesn't take care of their own responsibilities, He or She will beat someone up", its an ugly social behavior not for anyone to get insulted by this villain or villainess

  • That finger in the face crap would have got has behind kicked.....HARD!!

  • Harassment is presently legal in the work place all over the United States as long as he or she is NOT a member of a protected class or is any way covered by discrimination laws. SO guess what Straight WHITE MEN!! You're fair game! And everybody knows it! No wonder why men don't want to work anymore! Yes, they want to work, they Love to work even, but not in this PC correct society...it's a nightmare!!! Oops...gotta run to my diversity training meeting...later!

  • Yes competent White Male...YOU have to do everything around here if you want it done right! But there is too much to do, and you can't do it all yourself, there just isn't enough of you, too bad you can't clone yourself!! SO this is your conundrum...welcome to 2010! It all about diversity baby!!!

  • Where can I find a lawyer that takes care of this kind of bullying? Can you give a name and telefone number, A lawyer in the midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconson, Ohio). Thanks!

  • The only reason this worries employers is when employee's take time off for stress related to harrasment. If employee's couldn't go off on stress this would be a problem for a company since they wouldn't notice money loss in such a way.

  • I'm a woman and I have always hated bullies from day one. They are a bunch of shitful obnoxious types.

  • @lunareclipse7696 "I'm a woman and I have always hated bullies"

I don't see what your vagina has to do with it? I have a dick and have hated bullies just the same lol

  • @Tzimnewman3 ...Im not sure if thats humor or sexism.

  • LOL

  • the lady doing her makeup is a total ..... WAY TO GO GIRL!

  • I met Carrie Clark and all I can say is she is the greatest. She is strong and just an all around wonderful person. She has been fighting for this law to be passed for a very long time. Put in alot of hard work. I highly commend her. My hat off to you Carrie. Thank you for all you have done and doing.

  • I've been terminated from my job for asserting my right not to be bullied, and now they want me to keep quiet about it. I got a call from them telling me to STOP posting things about the company on facebook...why should I, and what will they do, fire me???

  • @bigfig1900 yell but hell thats not going to do a damn thing

  • @bigfig1900 I say get LOUDER!!

  • Bullies shud be treated as criminals! They shud serve long prison sentances and b named and shamed 4 the weak ppl they are!! If it goes on long enough it can lead to severe depression and anxiety that effects every aspect of your life. Worst case scenario is ppl commit suicide becuz of these ppl. Most cases its not the actual job causing this but the PEOPLE.

  • Excellent video!

  • I left my old job because of bullying, it is the worst experience it led to sever depression, bullies don't understand how horrible they make people feel. The end statement she said is so true "WORK SHOULDN'T HURT"

  • Excellent video/information.

  • Take action against workplace bullying. Management will not solve this problem. They are the problem. Politicians and lawmakers have to take action. Canvas them. There are petitions available through the internet. Find live petitions against workplace bullying and sign them. If you cannot find a suitable live petition, submit your own.

  • I was intimidated by a Bully at the Shelter workshop which was supported by the Rehabiliation services for People with Developmental Disabilities. This guy snapped Demons at me by pointing finger at my Superhero shirt. He was acting dumb and I did the best thing to avoid him.

  • Aren't these egotistical, two-faced, and dangerous the same asshole's women are attracted to?

    Wierd society we live in.

  • @diegocarpaccio - sorry but no one would watch this without having issues in thier workplace but you put a comment in making "woman" a target.. no I am not ever ever attracted to - and I don't know any friend, female etc who has been attracted to a bully, loudmouth, condesending,, full of it picece of shit ever. I'd wipe the floor with any - as you put it egotistical, two faced, dangerous asshole - just as I would you if you class woman to be so stupid as to believe them.

  • i was completely degraded at my last job.

i was treated like a child

  • This is a fantastic documentary. I can relate to every single word that came out of her mouth and hope the bastard who caused me to lose my job gets his just rewards in the future

  • yeah, i got bullied at work, their names are STACEY MERRICK, BETH GILLEY and MIKE PERRY, and they worked at JR LABS in CHELTENHAM, ENGLAND. They did it even though two of them were aware that I suffer from recurring depression, anxiety and lack of confidence.

  • it makes sense bully's pick on the vulnereble, cause bully's are cowards, stay strong.

  • Great info. I am conducting research on workplace bullying.

  • I would be interested in learning your results when you complete your project.

  • This is the most useless video ever. The only real option you have is to carry around a voice recorder.

  • And you think that people would finally outgrow this infantile, asinine behavior by the time they left high school. The workplace should never be a hostile place!

  • Ooh, great! Problem solved! Why didn't I think about this myself before?? I guess this is why we need intelligent ppl around, to point out that if we walk up to the boss calling them a bully things will look up. I think you need to wake up. First of all, a bully is much more sly and they will go behind your back rather than showing their true colours. Second, did it ever occur to you that people are terrified of being fired or even quitting? This is a delicate matter, pls have some sense!

  • Trump encourages this. Fail.

  • don't think some of us in HR don't try to effect change. 2 months into my HR role at a not-for-profit here in NZ, I took documented evidence of bullying for the past five years. She bullied me too. I went to the CEO. He refused to admit any problems and started making my life impossible. Staff all supported what I was trying to achieve but were too scared of their own jobs to stand up and say so. I was forced to resign. Please support colleagues - they can't stop others bullying alone.

  • in my experience is bullies are bascially the workers not the bosses. they are ineffective workers that bully competent co-workers. The problem is that bosses and human resource departments protect bullies. I have worked for 37 years in multiple situations and have found successful boses to be oportunistic two faced climbers.. and lazy incompent workers being treated better than the good employees; generally because the lazy ones have the "bullying" down pat.

  • Bullying is a crime in the workplace it convicts verbal language affecting Mental ILLness struggling through Anxiety depressions. Being a Bully in the workplace is like your Manager couldn't get a hold of his or her anger. They are Pathedicly wrong about it. Mental Retardation is part of everyone's Dignity of Confidence needs donation through America to defend off bullies.

  • True, HR are the biggest culprits who protect the company and the bully as it is easier to isolate and push out the victim to leave the job.

Bullying in Australia is a rife as it is anywhere in the wester world. IT MUST STOP.

The Bully must be outted and witnesses must help vitcims too, not just stand by and say nothing, as that is just like bullying.

  • Happened to me. I am too far gone now to worry about what anyone thinks of me. I put my trust in Jesus now.

  • hehe

  • I left my job because not only were the bosses bullies, but they supported a small group there who acted in kind. I am currently unemployed but at least my health is starting to return. I gave my all to that company.

  • You are obviously brave and did the only thing to protect yourself. Though you MUST report this and out the bully, as if you don't others will be bullied and management will continue to ignore. Your silence on this is just as bad.

I would write the company CEO a letter and threaten legal action for CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL as you were forced to leave of your own accord as workplace coul no longer protect your health, welfare and safety.

  • @Degyzon I totally agree with you. It is sad that HR is there to protect management and the company from litigation rather than address the issue at hand.

  • @Degyzon Many bosses confuse bullying with good management skills. They are neanderthals!

  • You are right bosses are bullies and bullying is abuse. They abuse their positions because they are in a position to do so. They lie and collude with other bosses if you try to do something about it. They ruin your health and think nothing about it. Why???
